I can see why you enjoy it there so much what an awesome place and those trees were insane but no face in that trunk for me! real nice spot to stop for a beer and what a size was that Empire State tree! Hard to believe the people would strip the bark of the Mother of the Forest, had a sad ending that was, people suck. Cheers Alan
Hey man, it’s Vincent from the Agassiz tree earlier today! Glad someone is showing the world the hidden gem that Big Trees Park is. You’re right, there is something almost spiritual about the groves. Part of why I drove up for 7+ hours was just to get some peace in the south grove. A couple times while hiking up to the Agassiz tree I asked myself if I should turn around or not, but I’m glad I decided to make it all the way up and ran into you! Chances are I’ll be there again tomorrow. Can’t wait for that video on south grove! Cheers

This place is near and dear to my heart, if you get a chance to explore both the north and south groves I totally would recommend to! One trail is more touristy and the other is more wild and rugged !
