Hey guys, here are three places to buy Vostoks from, but which is the best? Thanks for all the well wishes but I'm feeling a lot better today. Enjoy your weekend.
Excellent video mate! Very useful and well researched content for everyone who's interested in buying Vostok watches. And the video was well structured and entertaining to watch. Nice!👍
Two more important points: Bezels can be purchased from Meranom and Komandirskie, but not Vostok. Komandirskie is the best about providing the dimensions of the watches, with Meranom coming in second. Vostok come in dead last.
Very helpful video. Curiously did all 3 watches arrive by Royal Mail? I ordered mine from Meranom nearly 3 weeks ago and they used Russia's own postal service, which would indicate it will probably arrive by Royal Mail.
Hey mate, I saw these website. I am from India, and its festival time nearing soon, yeahhhh🎉🎉 Which website you recommend the most to purchase genuine vostok amphibian watches ? Please mate I am waiting every damn second for your reply. Btw, wishing you hell lot of good health and love.🍫 And happy DIWALI 💥💥
I haven't bought a Vostok yet, the Prime service and replacement guarantees and returns make me feel morecomfortable. I also work for Amazon so that employee discount 😆
I wonder why some say Vostok on the dial and others say boctok. I'd guess the Russian translation of Vostok is boctok but thought Vostok would have just been the Russian name of the brand all along. I don't know. I like the look of the green one in the thumb nail. Last thing I need is another green watch tho. I might pick a Vostok up at some point. I've nearly pulled the trigger a few times and they're not expensive.
Wondered that myself but honestly don't know, could be for different markets maybe? But for the price its hard not to buy one, or several. Thanks mate.
Восток, literally meaning "East", is the Cyrillic (Russian language) spelling of Vostok. Whilst the proper English transliteration is Vostok, because many watches produced at Chistopol used to be exported mainly to Warsaw Pact countries, expecially to East Germany (where the German transliteration of the Cyrillic “В” is “W” as opposed to “V” in English), export Восток watches were named Wostok until 1991 and the watches produced for the Russian domestic market were named Восток. However, when the USSR collapsed in the early 1990s all watches were subsequently officially named Восток (with the alternative transliteration spelling of Vostok).
@@WesWatchRoom yes it is so is vostok factory store , Soviet Market take two days to check every watch before sending to a client , their client service is bar none .The watch they send a client will have been time adjusted on a time grapher , no of the shelf and sent . They cost a little more but one has to expect great service to be worth something .
