Ask Cedric Mullins, the All-Star center fielder on the last-place Baltimore Orioles, who recently became the first player in franchise history to hit 30 home runs and get 30 stolen bases in one season. I was at Camden Yards on the night that he joined this exclusive "30-30 Club," and okay, so there were only 7,935 fans in attendance, but there was still enough excitement to fill up the entire stadium.

The Orioles were playing the Texas Rangers -- two of the most fan-friendly teams in MLB. One visiting coach, fully aware of my collection, asked me how many baseballs I've caught, and when I told him the exact number, he tossed me another.
