The best preserved medieval English village. Lavenham. Suffolk 

Lavenham is a lovely English village (although in Medieval times it used to be a town) located in the county of Suffolk. It is a perfectly preserved medieval village, noted for its Guldhall, Little Hall, 15th-century church, half-timbered cottages. Lavenham was the 14th wealthiest town in Tudor England because of its famous Lavenham Blue broadcloth. Today Lavenham is a popular day-trip destination, where you can immerse yourself in a medieval atmosphere.
