Just finished watching the video and thank you for sharing. The Nairobi makes my scalp so dry, itchy and flaky and my stylist said to get the products you are referring to but I couldn’t find them in stores anywhere (I’m in Atlanta). I'm learning a lot. I have spent way too much having my hair cut & colored because I didn't know how to style it well by myself. Half-way thru and I need a notebook 📓 so educational!!! Hi Lavender , yes moisture moisture moisture is my winter tip . Give your hair and skin ample moisture to combat the elements with adequate water intake and daily moisturizing products.
I'm experiencing extremely dry scalp I just started the short look my hair only looks good for a week after one week it looks like what the hell. This is new to me I have been wearing braids first time new look and yes I faithfully go to to the salon every 2 weeks

Hi, all these tips have been so helpful, I’ve been natural for over 15 years and I’m now wearing a tapered cut and I’m seriously considering a pixie as the current style is just not working for my lifestyle I want something easy to style and and look after. I’m in the U.K. and most of the products you recommended aren’t available here ☹️. I was wondering how often do you relax and cut your hair? My natural hair is a thick 4b-c type. Also to style for everyday do you have to use a flat iron? I’m worried about heat damage. Please do a video on maintaining and styling between sain visit and regimen I would really appreciate it. Thanks for the tips. I just did a big chop with a relaxer. I don't plan on using any heat as long as I can hold out. I want to put my hair in rollers for the top curls. I have satin rollers. Is there a product I could put on before roller setting? Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you sooo much for sharing this video! I love my pixie and now I know what to do to keep it maintained on a daily basis. Any advice on good relaxers to use? My hair is thick and I've tried the box relaxers and the ones that come in a jar. It does the job but if you have any recommendations, I'll take it. :)
I hope this isnt a silly question because im new to the pixie cut game.. do you oil your scalp as well from time to time if It ever feels dry? or is that advised against to prevent build up?
Not a silly question at all. If you have a dry are you can use what I call a spot-oil to sooth the one spot . Im not a fan of going through the whole head and oiling the scalp though.

I'm so glad you've found the info I share helpful.Molding unrelaxed hair may require a light gel coupled with the foam. As for the color it depends. If you only want to add color without gray coverage you can use a black semi-permanent color
Thank you soo much for these maintenance tips. I do have a few questions. I normally cut/reshape my pixie after every relaxer(about every 6 weeks) should I trim/reshape sooner?
Can the thermal seal be put on dry hair for daily use or only after your wet wrap. I’m a sweater and my hair is wavy textured if I sweat which is often if I’m not home etc my hair is waving and flipping all directions and I hate it. No one else can tell but if u wear short hair as long as I have u want sides and back LAID 😏 the other products I use but not thermal seal
Brandy Lucas Texas Short Hair Stylist I would say my texture is fine/medium making it thick. My hair takes relaxer well but as time goes on I get frustrated with my sides sticking up after I sleep( in the video you mentioned a fix for that and it has worked) Thanks☺️ I also discovered my cowlick in the back of my nape. Which I hate. 🙄I try to keep it short so it won’t stick out. My goal is to maintain a sleek pixie and find cute styles along with it.

Absolutely , I'd just suggest you have your hair cut by someone who knows how to take all your hair concerns into consideration and give you the best cut based on those factors.

My hair is soft and I sleep on a satin pillow case. I have found by doing a roller set it will keep my hair in the back with a curl. Am I crazy to think soft hair can maintain a curl in the area where I lay my head?
Thanks for your advice I learned alot. I use Nairobi but I'm thinking of switching because it is heavy, leaves a shiny film on my hair until I comb my hair out, I started adding water to it. But my question is do you have any tips for bad hair days, how to curl your hair at home, and how to maintain the back and sides. My back will nap up because it's cut super short and doesn't have a lot of relaxer on it. Also I sleep wild and my hair gets messed up all the time. So I'm rocking a hat alot. Any tips
bdiva890 Yep I feel you! I do have a few tips! I’ll add them to my next. Idea and actually show you what I suggest you do! Yeah the Nairobi was good for a while but it did exactly what you explained to my guest hair ! I highly recommend the Influance Foam and with any foam you want to be mindful of how much you use.
Sophie Hardy It depends on the thickness & health of the hair I’m styling . Start with less heat and increase it slowly to achieve your desired results
