i finna have to take that thing out after like 5 minutes of trying to put it up? also those this are so fragile, they might cut my head but they will break
My hair isn't long enough for a loose twist, it all falls out in no time so my hair is essentially down. Suggestions? Other than braids, I don't want the kinks braids give my hair (even when loose)
I love the waves gives me but I feel like they go away quick after brushing. If you are the type that likes to use a hair straightener tho I can understand why that’s a burden to deal with. I would suggest using a very flexible hair tie that won’t pull. Pull hair equal parts on each side. Put into a low loose pony. As low as u can depending on how short hair is. I like to throw my pony or braid to the side or over my pillow being I hair real long hair. That way I’m not sleeping in the bulk of it. Shorter hair just do what’s she’s doing minus the twist if it’s going to fall out, put one on each side low as u can and loose . Hope that helps. If it’s really short I don’t think u have to worry a lot of breakage during sleep. It’s the longer hair that gets knots from moving around it breaks off from getting pinned under u while laying . 😊
I got one some time ago and I have some issues. It has an elastic strap and I'm pretty sure that's the peoblem. If I want it to stay on my head the whole night, I have to make it so tight that it's uncomfortable. I got a silk pillow case instead. I thought about replacing the elastic with a ribbon or something. But I definitely love how my hair looks when I sleep with it. I have a big amount of very fine hair, so I usually have tangles in the morning, unless I braid it. But the braided look is just not what I always want to have and the bonnet is amazing for that.
I love my satin & silk caps & pillow cases. I have dozens of caps - it took me a few tries to discover what works best for my big head. I love larger turbans, and the thin tie in back style - looks similar to a chefs hat? I also do the satin lined beanie looking cap. They are saving my hair for sure.
I like doing braids, however, I always have to wait until my hair is dry because I always shower before bed to prevent breakage and it always ends up taking an hour for my bed routine and my boyfriend hates it.
Don't worry about what your boyfriend thinks he hates, I am sure in all reality what he would really hate is if his girlfriend had to walk around with big bald spots from not taking proper care of her hair. Most men find healthy hair attractive, most women covet healthy hair, so just keep on keeping your hair healthy.
Loose braids are amazing! They give waves and they are just comfy when trying to fall asleep. Also their really cute when your in a rush to go somewhere! Just my opinion tho..😅
I have wavy curly hair and sleep in a loooose bun or pineapple pony how is that for breakage (and a silk pillowcase tho i just bought a new one cuz old one broke so not for a few days)
i actually reccomend twisting your hair into a LOOSE high bun because the heat from your body and the pillow on your hair can get super high and can pretty much can fry your ends off
What are your thoughts on blow dry vs air dry? Which is better for hair? I don’t blow dry because my hair turns into a poofy fried mess. Everyone tells me I should blow dry. I must not be doing right. Will you please do a tutorial on how to properly blow dry? There are many tutorials on YT but they omit, leave out potentially critical information. I know I sound silly but I’d like to learn how to do this. I do have all High end products and appliances ex all Dyson or T3. All high hair products too. I have long hair with highlights. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You seem to have curly/wavy hair. Try styling it naturally curly. Or try and learn to blow dry to straighten, but I don’t really know how to do that myself😅
This hack is better to try when you are not in bed. There are highly chances of the hair to untie. Instead do this before you do your hair. I usually tie my hair like this while doing makeup and then when I untie it's perfect(temporary lasts for max 30 mnts)
Tbh when I did that I wake up my scruncy whent missing and my hair is a mess so I do buns but not to messy not to tight and protective when I move around so it won't go bye byeeee
The thing is when I try loose hairstyles at night, it's wayy too loose so then, all my hair falls outta the hair tie :(( but I do like the idea of this!!
I just learned that my crown thinning hair is probably some to do with me wearing my hair up in a bun on that area. My dr told me, wearing scrunchies and hair up alot will cause breakage and hair loss. I wear my hair up like 95% of the time because it’s very long but thin and just easier.
ain't no way low loose twist????? that's for PPL who sleep like a corpse NOT MOVING AT ALL i roll all over my bed when in sleep and there is no difference if i sleep with my hair down or put it in some" low loose twist" ✨ so the best hairstyles if you sleep like an animaal is braids ✨ high bun✨ orrrrrr........ yup that it..
I do a loose braid to sleep in at night or I put into a silk bonnet there’s lots of options that are healthy for your hair type you just have to find your preference💕
For me, braids have been lifesavers for my hair! I always wanted wavy hair when I was 4 cuz I have silky hair I never liked but others did, so my mom came up with an idea of doing braids since then but now I do then on my own, instead of doing them with heat, do them every day.
Tbh short haired girls need protective sleep hairstyles the most imo, cuz when people w short hair wake up in the morning, their hair goes flying around if you dont style it, and sometimes we dont HAVE the time to style it, and im not waking up like an hour early just to prep my friggin hair. As a girl who had long hair before, short hair defo gives more trouble when you wake up. But sadly, I dont see any videos about it.
