Just a little heads up, because I’d hate to see y’all get a ticket or anything….. lay the tape measure down first, then lay the fish on top to measure. When you put the tape on top, it kind of arcs/bends over, so it measures a bit bigger than it actually is. So that fluke that measured right at 17” with the tape on top, might have been just a hair or two under 17” if the tape were flat on the dock. No hate brother… just trying to save you a ticket, because the game wardens wont have any chill if a fish is short when they measure, even though your measuring method showed it being legal. I’m still enjoying all of your videos since discovering you a few weeks back,and they’re bringing back all of the cool fishing memories while I was growing up in NJ 👍 🍺

That pier is always so crowded for a reason, people catch fish. Instead, I usually walk the beach jigging for fluke especially along structure and the jetties. I always catch a lot of fluke in that area.

The pier is always packed I went like 5am so I kinda got a spot but in the middle. Than you have people come in after you and try to bully you out of the spot. So I just go to the beach side now. The last video there I got caught in a storm. Check it out.

Nice. I went to Florida last year wanted to fish but got 3 kids couldn’t do want I wanted to, but next time for sure I will be doing a lot of fishing
