She is one of genshin's better VA's. It's sad we don't get to hear more of the traveller because he was amazing as Keito miera in 13 Sentinels.

I don't think I can watch that part, or when Furina leaves the opera house and sees everyone still alive, without crying. Furina was already one of my favorite characters, but this just sealed it.

Just like Neuvi said, she may not be the real archon, but for the past 500 years she has performed the duties of one!

If furina did become archon she will be the best archon she really cares for her people & her nation just like Nahida sadly she is not but still she is amazing

In my opinion is the strongest until now the way she just transform that big whale in a little orb and say it was nothing is surprising

Skirk is likely at the same level as him if not more powerful, tho that is solely due to her using abyss energy. She literally said that stopping Childe and Narval fight was supposed to be light trainning for her.

Zhongli is probably the strongest since from what we have seen he is the only actual surviving archon of the archon war especially since neuv doesnt have the gnosis still and obv we arent including the heavenly principles/hexenzirkel etc

@@ultoemmz72 Gnosis is not the source of Neuv's power. What the Gnosis did was, hold the sovereignty over the elements as long as the Elemental Throne in Celestia still stood(in this case Hydro Throne). When the Hydro Throne from Celestia fell after Focalors passed, she willed her Gnosis to Neuvilette and his full authority over hydro came back in that moment. Meaning, he doesn't need the Gnosis to get his full power back. TLDR: Neuvillette doesn't need the Gnosis to be in full power.

Yeah, I hate it when people think they're separate people. Like, they're two parts of a whole, it's like if her powers had it's own mind but didn't offer it's usage to it's body, it isn't hard to understand.

I mean yes but no. She’s not literally “50%” focalors and focalors is not “alive”. Coz as you said “focalors” is her divinity so if she were alive that means her divinity still lingers which means she’s still technically a God and archon, thus meaning the hydro throne hasn’t been destroyed.

tbh the worse pacing in fontaine is at 4.1 with the loop of prisoner daily life. I hope they could pull that better. other than that the pacing is perfect for me, every scene had its reason unlike the bloaty writing of the past archon quest.

Storytelling quality and impact I’d say is similar Belobog’s climax from HSR-multiple factors came into play to really drive a nail into our hearts during those final moments

It really doesn’t do it justice, but I just can’t help but see Natlan as the unga-bunga nation where everything is just decided by who’s stronger on the surface level. I hope I’m proven extremely wrong and it explores less obvious themes

on this time only the traveler actually almost screw the plan instead of saving the day like usual.

I've never really seen Traveller as the 'main' character tbh, it's just like what he says in this quest that "we're just a Witness". And as Nicole said, we're basically just playing our 'part' in altering the fate of Teyvat. Neuvillette & Furina were definitely the heart and soul of Fontaine arc.

​@@tokotamsit would work better like tbh, the traveler is not Kiana, so unless the chapter is supposed to be about him, it would work better if they focused on the important characters such as Furina and Neuvilette like in this case.

if only the quest design would always have the same QUALITY, like this main quest ..., but the range of writing quality is really reminding its players every time, how shockingly huge th game is there - it feels like as if the story writers for the main quests and the people responsible for the overall quest design for the smaller quests are completely different people... here with the Main story, you get delivered high quality storytelling full of deep emotions, sramaturgy, full of tons of storytelling techniques able to completely deceive you and trick you into thinking you see a reality, just to see the next scene, everything was a trick. A Story that delivers its mature content, just to get then confronted constantly ever and ever and ever again by MHY in the Side Quests with silly braindead Childs that make our Character look like some kind of babysitter....as if MHY is trying here to be kind of "political correct" in a weird way... like say, Genshin Impact ist no game playable by childs, if theres ton tons of little kids presented in every single patch that are somehow quest relevant ... Even to the point that they are indirectly woven into the lore of a whole region - at least in appearance. 4.2 was again CHILD OVERLOAD... and all the Melusine basically as kind of "childs" - Lanoire - Kevin - Penny - Caterpillar - Talochard & Curve All of Narzissenkreutz was basically a bunch of 4 freaking kids and her oceanid babysitter .... as usual, when it could have been so much better, would it have received a more mature storytelling and actually mature characters, not freakign KIDS for the sake of having just kids represented in the game, cause a game is nowadays no game anymore, if not virtual kids are presented everywhere in all quests ... sigh

Imo: Mondstadt: Lame Liyue: Super Lame Inazuma: I legit remember nothing. Musta been boring and Ei was pigheaded and dumb Sumeru: Really good but the "Akademiya was released into the desert" was BS after imprisoning their archon for years. Aside from the end, good Fontaine: Best quest so far. Literal night and day compared to the OG shit

Imo Sumeru was the worst, I never experienced such need of a skip button and didn't give a shit when Nahida cried cause it seemed like a lot of BS.

@@Karnage432 I think the archon quest I disliked the most is Sumeru too, but in my case I was coming back from being burned out of the game so that might have influenced my perception of that story, while it was somewhat interesting, dialogues were long, boring and really not trying to be offensive, but the tongue-twister names of everything just pull me out of every sumeru quest lol

Yes, with all the dialogue manual skips included. Next time he might as well just spam spacebar, the 5 hour questline will end up being about 3 minutes. Great content. Literally skimming through the quest, constantly cutting all the scenes just to get that sweet youtube $ asap. Next title could even be: Interlude: Disrespecting VA's.

@@coloraturawhite892 it way more complicated than that for a couple reasons 1. Furina was always focalors ideal version of humanity, she didn't exist beforehand 2. Furina has nothing BUT humanity in the first place. A part of herself, her divinity, was gone. She HAS nothing but humanity, and has no concept of anything else

from "I want to slap this brat" into "I want to slap my past self for calling her a brat".

I agree as well. I'd say that Sumeru had more moments that were hype, but Fontaine for the most part felt consistent, the characterization was on point, pacing was good, and it struck on your heartstrings.

she is archon though. zhongli isnt archon anymore, raiden also isnt the official archon but ei . archons are people who has/had lead a nation or is the figure head of a region and its respective element.

​@@ishansharma2463 except, the human without vision and power (furina) is half of what makes up the god who has dominion of the region and element. and the other half which is the divinity/power is hiding in oratrice, and ofcourse without physical form she cant act as technical true archon and rule the nation. both halves make up the god named focalors, in that sense i can refer both the divinity and furina as the body as the archon of hydro. though zhongli and raiden arent true archon, we can also always consider them as the archon of respective element because they're literally the icon
