Captain C just want you to know how jealous I am. You do a great job and explain things better than any other people I have watched. Maybe some day we can meet and I can can tell you some of my gigging trips, with my paddle boat I invented just for Flounder, like a trip I giged 56 that weight 319 pounds that's a 5 1/2 pound average biggest being 11 pounds. I’m fixing to start doing a few, but snapper trips will be few and far between. I’d hit up Gettightcharters out of Dauphin Island. That’s the man you want for big snappers and you’ll be on a 37 freeman. I’ve been helping run a few trips as well with them so let him know I sent ya if you’re interested
Out snapper season in GA opens the second week of July. I can’t wait. I too found a killer snapper spot by charting the bottom earlier this year. I’m very interested in seeing how you do it.

@@8-bitco-op897 yea seriously hahaha imagine if you fish out of Panama City or Destin. All your triggerfish and AJ would be way closed when red snapper opens. Alabama fishing season is so accommodating. Wouldn’t be surprised if one of the Alabama fishing regulators is an avid fisherman!
What duser are you using.. I just got the airmar b275 lhw chirp and have yet to get back to pensacola to try it out.. B down for ars opening day.. Keep em tight
That’s a hell of a duser! I’m getting the same I think on my next boat, except it’s the high/wide. Currently I’m running the GT23 from garmin. It does well in the 100-200ft range reading bottom while running
