THE BEST RESTAURANT IN ANIMAL KINGDOM- YAK & YETI | Disney Dining Review 

You’re right, closing Animal Kingdom at 6:00 is just wrong. I understand if they want to close the part where the animals are, but Asia, DinoLand, Pandora, and Discovery Island could stay open longer.

We got an in-show exit off our final Splash Mountain ride at Disneyland. We had just come down the big drop, so we got to walk through the final show scene with the riverboat - all the animatronics were still moving but there was no music or dialogue, so all you heard was the squeaking of the figures moving. It was AWESOME.

That beginning intro with the bouncy tune and sound of a soda filling up a glass never ceases to make me smile! It always makes me so excited for the video! SUCH a cool tip about the Landry's card 🥰

I ate there last time I was at Disney. We chose it for the air conditioning but it was an amazing! Great service and great food!

Love Yak and Yeti! Also, I've been evac'd off of Haunted Mansion and Guardians and Tower of Terror. All amazing but Guardians was actually kind of scary. We had to ride to the evac area in the dark with no music or screens. Then walk down six flights of stairs once they securely locked our vehicles onto the track. It was quite the experience. You come out of the building behind Epcot

I was evacuated on Test Track. We had just headed outside and stopped half way around the turn. Pretty neat to see backstage. But sat in the blazing sun for a bit before they came to get us

My family and I experienced an evacuation from Splash Mountain in 2015. It was really cool behind the scenes.

I’ve been evaced off of Haunted Mansion years ago. It was fun! I’ll have to try the ahi nachos! They look amazing.

I love everything about Yak & Yeti! Probably my fave Disney, non-Disney restaurant lol. OMG I really want the chicken nachos and the crispy chicken app right now! Evacd off People Mover and Everest.

On our honeymoon my husband and I were on haunted mansion ride and it stopped right in front of Madame Leota for 15 minutes that was fun ❤

I got an Evac from Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, and it was so cool!! :D they actually showed us some hidden details!!

My family and I are going to Disney in 11 days. We have reservations at yak and yeti. Their honey chicken and rice is the best. I’m surprised how early this park closes now.

We got stuck many many moons ago on the old test track. They shut it down and let us 20’ from going inside. We were there 10 minutes or so. Got soaked, they were shocked when they started back up and we came in.

Yes, I’ve been evacuated office splash Mountain many years ago there was a log in front of us right before we got off full of heavier, set people and they were bouncing up and down and thinking they were funny and our log ran over there and their lock tilted up in the air so they were all halfway deep in water Took them about a half an hour to find us

Kali River Rapids is the worst Evac. We were in the raft ready to be dropped into the water for the ride part. When the ride stop and they drained the water we knew we were getting off but what we didn't realize is they have to call the fire depending for that raft because their Evac steps do not accommodate where the ramp on the side goes back down before going into the water. We sat in the hot sun in August for about 45 minutes as a thunder storm was getting ready to roll in. Once the fire department got there we literally stepped over the side and out but the cast members were not allowed to do it that way without the fire department. We unloaded the raft in just a few minutes ugh! It was an experience. To this day everytime we try to ride Kali it is either down or goes down while in line. That was the first time we made it that far. My kids were so disappointed. Hopefully next time.

I was evacuated from the Tower of Terror once. The last time I rode Everest, I sat for THE longest time looking at that broken track section. I really thought we were stuck. But it did eventually take off. I'd love to see Pirates or the Haunted Mansion with the lights on...just curious, I guess.

we were there 2weeks ago and got the Nacho's but got the chicken. They were amazing.

We got evacuated from HM and got to walk through the cemetery, and Big Thunder Mountain. It was so cool.

My all time favorite place to dine at Animal Kingdom. Everything is wonderful. My son ordered the fish special and was very surprised to get the WHOLE fish. What a photo op!! He said it was so good.

Evacuation off RnRC. We are about to enter the loop. They had to back all the cars off the loop so we could exit the ride.

My family & I have been evacuated off Jungle Cruise. We survived the sinking of the Jungle Cruise in 2020.

Hi Kristin! We just ate at Yak/Yeti on July 4th to celebrate the hubby’s birthday. I HAD the scallops and they were delish! Every trip has a Yak/Yeti visit and being a Landry’s member is a super bonus! Besides not needing a reservation, we had a $25 Landry’s birthday credit! BTW: it was so nice seeing you on the Boardwalk with Ryan and Shawn 🥰

I got evacuated from Jungle Cruise at night and got to watch the fireworks from the boat. They had to bring another boat and tow the one we were on.

I was evacuated twice. The first time from Matterhorn. The cast members were so funny pretending to erase our memories (like in Men in Black). The other was Splash Mountain (Disneyland), and it was not so funny. First its kinda slippery and second, I use a cane now, which was back on my wheelchair.... so i had a hard time getting out of the boat. Thankfully, by then, my son was an adult and could assist me. This was in 2019... I never rode Splash Mountain again.

I was once evacuated off of a ride, I cannot remember the name, at great adventure exclamation exclamation the ride for each car held eight people 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 you got on the ride lifted up on the front and was 90° that you would climb up 100 feet. Then at the top it did a hairpin drop to 90° and you were supposed to come down and the car would roll a go straight. Well, the ride stopped about 15 feet short of the top of the climb. We laid there in the car as if we were astronaut strapped into a rocketship waiting to go off. We were there for about an hour before they came up to us on the elevator and took us off one by one after releasing over our shoulder harnesses. It was very scary because we had to rotate on our back so that we could turn around and get onto the elevator!! no doubt after that experience we went to the hospitality tent!! We were promised season passes, but they never gave them to us!!

Had to get evacuated from spaceship earth. Had to walk down the steps from the top with a 5 and 6 year old as a single parent. Took forever.

Perfect timing for this video! We’re coming in 28 days and we have a reservation for yak & yeti. My husband is super excited to try it!

Yak and Yeti is fun. I just wish they wouldn't overdo it with the sweet soy glaze sauces. Everything is too sweet.

Do you know if Yak and Yeti will seat you up to the 6pm AK closing? Wondering if that is the best use of our park time.

Yak and yeti is always a must for us. We love the wok fried green beans (the only time I will eat green beans) love the Korean fried chicken and I agree the burger is probably the best burger in WDW

Love those tuna nachos!!! We all love Yak & Yeti, even our son. Loved the tip about the window seat as well as now we are going to get the Landry’s card. New items on that menu look awesome!

The best restaurant in animal Kingdom is tiffins but yak and yeti is a close 2nd but tiffins is the best

Yak & Yeti was our favorite meal at our last visit back in May, we also ate at California Grill and Storybook Dining (those were fantastic) but we shared the lettuce cups and the dragon roll bowl and wow! they were so fresh and delicious on a hot day! Can’t wait to go back 🥰
