For those who are curious. The Q7 Max does indeed go in a criss cross pattern. However, it's not from a cleaning cycle, like he mentions, but rather, if you tell it to clean a specific room you can tell it to clean that room up to 3 cycles. If you tell it to clean your whole place (cleaning cycle), it will only go through one cycle in the normal "rows" pattern. Setting up a cleaning schedule to clean up your entire place or to clean specific rooms, will only go through one cycle. I could be wrong, so if someone finds out how you can make it go through multiple cycles all the time, please correct me. This is just what I'm finding out through my own experience from having it for a few days. So far, so good! I like Q7 Max a lot because it really shows results, my place has stayed pretty consistently cleaned! There are some places where it hasn't gone to clean (eg. under my desk with my office chair) but those places are tricky so that's reasonable and I don't blame it.
@@consumer-analysis Meaning no disrespect, I do think that in this generation, the pacing and tone probably needs to be increased and more enthusiastic for channels to get big. Project farm is a very good example of this. But what the fuck do I know
Great, thorough testing in your videos, truly informative without all the fuzz and bling. You have similar picks for best vacuum? Maybe even for hard floor and for carpeting individually? I'm looking for a budget/midrange option with proper LiDAR navigation for only carpeting and would love to spend the money on ideal performance for only what I need... Thanks!
I purchased the Roborock S7 Max V ultra, and it has one major problem! The bin inside the robot does not have any sensors to tell when the bin is full so it will ONLY empty the bin at the end of the job. With 2 German Shepards, it tends to fill quickly and then it is only pushing the dirt around your house.
It's my understanding that the reason for this is iRobot having a patent on bin full sensing, which is a massive shame considering how behind they are on many other aspects.
@@nitrologly I would expect a video testing 15+ robot mops to showcase each them for equal amounts of time since the tests should be the same... If this was an unbiased video anyway. But since it's biased toward roborock, the whole video might as well have been a roborock ad.
@Serious Business How is it biased? What of the several metrics he used do you disagree with? Perhaps his results differ from other reviewers? Once again, the title is literally the best mop. Singular. He only mentions the 15+ mops in reference.
Can't believe the shinebot wasn't include. I just did paper towel test after it mopped the floor and it was CLEAN. I have the Q7 and S7 and Bissell and only S7 was close but at quadruple the price.
I have one of these RopVacNic Robot Vacuum Cleaner G90 from Amazon... all 5 stars (probably fake reviews). We let it run around the kitchen and did not clean anything. Filter was crystal clear. Just sprayed water all over the place and make the dirt spread around. The central sucking up area just did not work... Give it zero stars of 5. It was quiet though. The Rumba ball tracking just pops out.. but in this knockoff, the ball tracker is stuck in there. Yes, the pad is dirty but I could just drag it accross the wet floor. Complete waist of $180. Zero stars of 5 (did not show us the tank.. mine was still clean.. should be dirty. We had an old Floor iRobot Scuba floor type (8 years ago) and the tank would get just gross dirt and often take 2 exchanges to get floor clear. It was only for floors. It worked well for a long long time.
I’m also considering of getting a mop robot, how does it works on different level tho? Do you have to carry it to different floors and return them back to dock manually?
Here to replace the Braava M6 I bought secondhand and died 6-months later; after the hinge broke for the lid, which, causes it to come up and stop the robot.
@@a.nobodys.nobody ended up getting the s8 pro ultra. it works well but not perfect. still runs over pet toys. Mopping is good as long as its every day and i got 2 extra mops. regarding the fur rug, thats a no go. i have to remove it each time
The Prettycare R1 Max is better than all of these . For $999 ($799 on prime day) it does all of the things that the $1500 ones do. Hot air drying . 85 days of dirt. Week for dirty water. LIDAR mapping . Camera on the device . This is incredible
It's very hard to believe that an unknown brand can be better than huge brands especially when there's AI involved. You probably didn't compare it with S7, S8, Q7 or Q8 yourself.
