The breaks have a lock.. please, if possible, ammend this.. push the handles out to lock. I just got one for my dad. Taking it to him today. I pray he will use it. It's a hard thing for his pride.
Push the brake handles forward to lock the brakes, before sitting down. If you have an injured foot or ankle you can put your knee on the seat and push with the other like on those specialized knee scooters. Upright rollators are also better for balance issues, carpal tunnel and posture. The brakes can help slow down on slopes. All terrain models are available, check the reviews, good and bad for features that you may not think of. Look for 10" front wheels for stability as all sidewalks are not created equal. Regular upright rollators are 24"-26" wide and bariatric are 26"-28" wide so measure your doorways.
after watching your assembly of the upright Rollator walker. i noticed that you put the wheel frame units on the wrong sides of the walker. which negates some of the feature. it also make the space for the operators feet. which may cause tripping stumbling or falling. i own one of these with pnumatic wheels. but it actually is a little short and I am only 5'10". just thought that I wold point out the assembly for those attempting to assemble one.

I had the standard version and found a few issues. I am 6 ft tall and weigh 2o0, which was acceptable per the description. The height adjustment pins failed after a short time and I had to drill them out and put in a bolt and nut, making it unreasonable to retract the arm wjen putting it in the car. The ring used to fold the seat was too flimsy and I had to change this as well. Having the arm at max height caused the arms to canter out. Thiz had me pulling inward and distressing my shoulders. I used a belt to keep the arms from moving outward. At the time this heavy duty walker was not available. I would like to see how easy it is to fold up and put in the car.

I have this one different color. It says it can handle regular terrains but if you're not paying extreme close attention you will fall over for sure!!! Notice you are NOT going to see videos 📹 of actual or non actual patients that bought it for their use demonstrating this in real life normal surroundings walking using it because you will hit just a threshold and this thing will stop abruptly and over you can goooo! I am for real l like this whole concept of this type walker but they need too redesign by extending front wheels!!! Please I'm not here too bash Oasis bc l need this type!! But fact insurance won't buy into this bc of its unsafe capabilities!!!!
Did you happen to read the instructions before you attempted assembly. You mentioned you cannot lock the brakes...wrong. your misinformation could get people hurt.
Maybe consult a DME provider before assembling on an instructional video. The rear wheels should be outside of the frame. You installed the wheel bars swapped left and right so a person walking will strike the rear wheels with there shoes. I’m lost with the discussion about reaching the brakes while sitting. The parking brake is applied before sitting and must remain applied until after standing back up. One should not release the brakes while sitting, so it absolutely doesn’t matter that you can not reach the brakes while seated.
