This is such an excellent costume, many Samus attempts look a little off in the proportions. Shame about the arm cannon end, warping would hurt that style of opening the arm cannon more, though I think the split-cross looks cooler than the slide back nonsense that was in Metroid Prime 2 and 3.

Warping. That end probably splits open to emulate how the arm cannon looked after shooting a missile. Now after a few wears and warm summers, the delicate shape doesn’t come together correctly. I’ve seen this tradeoff in this costume before
