The best secret keybinds you need to improve at Apex Legends 

This is the best way to set the binds up (as far as I can tell): bind e "+use" 0 bind mwheelup "+use;+forward" 1 bind mouse3 "+use_long" 0 bind mwheeldown "+jump" 1 Everyone has had that annoying issue of accidentally opening a door when they try to res or accidentally res'ing when they want to close a door. With these binds, you open doors/pick up items with e or mwheelup and res people with mouse3. You'll never have the same issue again (except when trying to res or loot next to a zip in a zipline building, for whatever reason, +use_long also works with ziplines...).

hey Comply, any chance you can post your auto exec file? My game feels always heavy and i have a stable 140 fps. render latency seem to be high i always play with 7-10 ms render latency...

@@ElApotsainer Make sure you run the game in normal priority (remove -high) and use -refresh 60 (144 for 144hz etc.) in launch options. Make sure VSYNC is disabled both in-game and in your NVIDIA 3D Settings for Apex Legends.

@@laeioun I'm using exactly everything you mentioned. Both vsync in game and panel are off, got the -high on launch option. Got the -refresh 144 , uncapped frame to 0 and locked it from nvidia panel to 140. Aswell. Im running a ryzen 3600x up to 4.2ghz, a 1660 Super OC edition. And overclocked my rams up to 3200... Idk what else 2 do. 😂

@@ElApotsainer Have you set Apex to High performance in your Windows Graphics Settings and enabled Windows Game mode? Have you got the latest drivers and OS version? Is your 1660s overheating a lot? Try changing your process priority via registry: 1. Windows+R 2. Type "regedit" 3. Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/WindowsNT/CurrentVersion/Image File Executing Options" 4. Find the folder "r5apex.exe" or create it if it isn't there. 5. Click on the folder, then open the PerfOptions folder. 6. Double click on CpuPriorityClass and change the value to 2 for normal priority (3 is high). How to create the folder and priority file: 1. Right click on Image File Executions Options, then hover on New and click Key. Name this "r5apex.exe" (case-sensitive). 2. Create a new key under r5apex.exe and name it "PerfOptions" (also case-sensitive). 3. Right click on the PerfOptions folder, hover on New, and click on DWORD (32-Bit) Value and name it "CpuPriorityClass" (again, case-sensitive). 4. Double-click on CpuPriorityClass (or right click and click on modify) and change value data to 2. Then try setting your power plan to the default High Performance mode (recommended by AMD for 3600x as it has been optimised for that mode). Then try installing RightMark's PPM Panel, running the software and following these steps: 1. Under processor performance, ensure Minimum Performance and Maximum Performance are both 100%. This sets the highest P-state full-time. 2. Under Core Parking Policy, set Minimum Cores to 0%, Maximum Cores to 100%, Core Override to Disabled, Increase Policy and Decrease Policy to Ideal number of cores, and Performance State to Deepest. Make sure you only use MSI Afterburner, RTSS, and RyzenMaster for hardware monitoring/overclocking and that you can use exclusive fullscreen (Google how to do that on Windows 10). Also, download Custom Resolution Utility and look for FR33THY's tutorial on how to force display scaling in case you are using a non-native resolution/refresh rate. Also, never use GPU scaling.

@@jays294 idk bro I haven't played apex in a long time but I think that my scroll wheel up is to interact and my scroll wheel down is to bunny hop and if I want to tap strafe I slide jump and look back while scrolling up. Aight hope I helped

I use the same binds! this bind with forward and jump makes tap strafing so much easier.

I used to use wheel down to cycle weapon, and in a long tight fight it was really helpfull, and recently i just know about bunny hop, now it becomes dilemma to choose

I use scroll wheel down for jumping and scroll wheel up for tap strafing.No room left for interact lmao

Scroll wheel jump for wall bounce basically allows you to be less precise with button timing while still executing the wall jump more consistently. Since the scroll wheel is inputting a jump command multiple times per wheel scroll and does so almost simultaneously compared to pressing space repeatedly. Larger margin of error
