Does anyone know how to get Encounter Power and Humungo Power level 2 of the same type without using Herba Mystica?

I did forget or ignore the part about the shiny charm but I did manage to get shiny iron valiant from it so there's that

I can’t get the shiny charm and I’m so bad at the raids so it would take longer to GET the herbas than it would take to HUNT the shinies.. (I can’t trade as idk if I need Nintendo online and I don’t really have a Nintendo account)

Correct me if I''m wrong, but level 3 encounter/sparkle WITHOUT a shiny charm comes up to be about the same odds as lvl 2 encounter but with the shiny charm, right?

@@Blitzbrie encounter level 2 doesn't increase the shiny odds, it just makes you see the shiny sooner. Encounter/Sprakling level 3 without shiny charm is 1 in 1024 and Encounter Levels 2 with the shiny charm is 1 in 1366.

@@MrLucky5001 Yeah I know it doesn't increase shiny odds. But yea it looks like lvl 2 encounter with the charm is not too far away from level 3 without it based on the numbers you just posted. So my point was this could still be great for hunting if you're not able to farm herba mystica

it does matter! let's say you go for dreepy which is ghost dragon, if the area it's spawning has several other ghost types you might see those due to a ghost encounter sandwich. but if the area only has dreepy as the sole dragon type, then the dragon sandwich would prioritize dreepy and isolate it which will lower your chance to see other mons in the area. hope that makes sense!

The only way to increase shiny odds with a sandwich is using herba mystica. I recommend the sandwiches in the vid only if you have the charm

60 mon KO extra shiny rolls only apply to a mass outbreak, and level 2 encounter sandwiches don’t have any effect on those. If you’re doing an outbreak, you don’t even need to make a sandwich unless you’re making a level 3 one for sparkling power

@@MajinPhil I'm confused what u meen? If I'm not using an herba mystica samwitch . Just doing a level 2 encounter sanmwitch for whatever plus 60 knock outs what do u meen it has no affect? Cuz it increases the spawns for the outbreak of that type??

@@Nnutthowze009 this video isn't for outbreaks, he is using the "isolated encounters" shiny method. look up a video explaining it on austinjohnplays. The outbreak method is another way to shiny hunt but it is unrelated to this video

Masuda method is fixed at 1/683 without charm or 1/512 with charm. Sandwiches only have an effect on wild encounters

90 hours shiny hunting is crazy

@@pidgey3734 lol I should clarify for yall: 3 hours was around my max hunt time (roaring moon) but most of my hunts ended within a half hour. I had a few hunts take over an hour, just rngceus at play, but I've had pretty good luck with just shiny charm and encounter power 2

@@KelpyG. bruh getting a shiny every half hour isn't bad luck lmao. Shiny hunting in previous games has been a nightmare. I'd easily spend a half hour or hour to get a shiny vs weeks of random encounters. My main point with my original comment was to highlight the success rate of just the charm and encounter power 2, as herba are hard to come by

Same, I did more than 10 Charizard raids and never got a single Herba Mystica, it was deeply frustrating

If you still care, there’s a small list of Pokémon that actually semi-reliably give herba mystica from raids. You can look it up for yourself because i don’t trust myself to recite them all but it helps a lot to target those species specifically
