She has came such a long way but still is so grounded in her reviews like she knows the fragrances she loves might not get same love from other people. But her opinion is very universally loved really

When I think about fragrance reviewers, I am very happy when Demi puts list of mentioned fragrances by brand and name. And what is even better, although I know in advance what she sill mention, I really do want to hear reviews ❤ she is fantastic!

Demi, J’Adore L’or is not only about jasmine, but it has a good quality tuberose that smells like the real flower. Maybe the same as Infinissime, however L’or is less sweet…it’s more balanced I really enjoyed this fragrance when I tested at a Dior kiosk in the mall. I’m only puzzled why Dior didn’t tell it in the official notes We only can assume that people are overwhelmed of tuberoses…
J’adore L’or is just beautiful. It really captures where I’m at in life currently (36 with a toddler). It feels very maternal and also high end. Just beautiful and feminine.

I agree totally! Dior L’or is truly beautiful and is signature scent and bridal worthy. I find it gardenia floral forward. In fact it smells just like a more affordable version of Chanel Les Exclusif’s Gardenia! 😉🌸

I LOVE cassili, just purchaded it. Two years after testing I retested it again… The way it was addictive to me😮 It doesn’t scream as Delina but it’s lovely. Now I have Delina , La Rosée and Cassili. They totally should make bodycream of this one💡❤. In october will be getting Althaïr❤
I wouldn’t say Cassili is a copycat but to be honest this perfume smell exactly GAP Velvet Bloom 695 before I used have it and now they discontinued GAP made me really upset but now I found Cassili..I’m so excited 😊
I live in London, work in publishing and wear Iris Malikan a lot. I go through phases where I never stop wearing it. Signature scent worthy in the correct context.
I don't get the love of coco noir. I bought it blindly. (Not because of you i only recently discovered your channel)It smells like a yiayia perfume. I gave it away. I usually agree and love everything that I have owned or tested that you recommend but that is a total no for me. There is nothing sexy or "noir" about it. I got my nose on la capital because of your channel at first "?" now it's a love. Can't wait to own a full bottle. Got a sample of Cassili and had to get a full bottle. I would like to try J'Adore l'or the original is great.
Demi, there is a huge hole in the market for a correspondence course where we can experience all / lesser-known notes individually. Easy to do for an essence maker to make a ''peel and sniff'' or someone with your connections. How about it? x
I have just discovered Maison Violet frangrances and have Sketch and Un Air d'Apogee and they are both gorgeous and massive compliment getters. Nathalie Lorson is one of my favourite perfumers 😍 The history behind tthis House and how they have resurrected some of their older fragrances is truly fascinating 🧐 I have been testing others, but will now definitely add Nuee Bleue to the collection. Thanks for giving this fantastic House some much deserved RU-vid attention 🙌👌😍 xx
@@palakush7650 I only have 3 Maison Violet frangrances, Sketch, Nuee Bleu and Un Air d'Apogee and they are all long lasting, with great projection. I have received several compliments when wearing them. Highly recommend, but do sample if possible as we all have different expectations. All the best, 🙏 xx
I love your reviews, Demi ❤️ I’d say my all-time signature scent would definitely be Byredo’s Bal d’Afrique. This scent is what peaked my interest in niche perfume about a decade ago. I’ve discovered quite a few great scents since then, but I always keep coming back to Bal d’Afrique. I love love love it.

I will say Ormonde Jayne Levant smells gorgeous and lasts a long time on skin. AND Iris Malikhan is soo good and beautiful signature, I get a lit of compliments and it is long lasting but not very loud.❤Love
I have samples on the way of Gris Charnel and Iris Malikhan after seeing your “cool girl” short. I can’t wait to give them a sniff. I’m very interested in Iris/Orris Root after revisiting my Oriana sample. It thought it smelled cheap at first but I put it on the other night after letting it set and it has so much more character and depth now.
If you're into clean /organic, layer Jason apricot and white tea bodywash with Cassili, it's virtually the same smell and Jason leaves skin like silk (we have very hard water) xx
Have you ever tried or smelled Gucci premiere? It's discontinued, but I was obsessed when I had that perfume. It's a white floral musk & imo it was a beast mode fragrance. I just remember it being really strong & getting tons of compliments on it. Ever since then, I've been trying to find a dupe. To me it smelled like money or old money. It had rich girl energy. If you know the fragrance, do you know of any others that are similar? I'm so bummed they don't sell it anymore. There's probably still bottles for sale but they might be expired by now lol.

I still keep the original version of Coco Noir, I have half of the bottle about 10 years ago and it’s perfect, it’s still in its box and in a dark place in my closet
Apollonia does something so weird on my skin- it smells super metallic and screechy and I am so disappointed. It makes me wonder if I got a bad bottle? Everyone who talks about this fragrance loves it and I think maybe it just doesn’t jive with my skin chemistry. I sprayed it on a blanket and it smells lovely in the dry down so I’ll just keep spritzing blankets :)

I always meant to buy the pre-reformulation of Dior J’Adore L’or because it was the only one with vanilla (just never did). But this version doesn’t have vanilla and I’m sad! Demi, did you smell the previous version and how do you compare the two?
