The BEST Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Under $50 - Glenfiddich 12 vs Glenlivet 12 

Liked this video right away, drinking from tumblers. "Tastes like alcohol"..."my taste buds suck anyway". This I can relate to. No overblown nonsense about chill filtering etc. "You're in good hands". Common man's view. 👍

I did this head to head 2 days ago after not drinking either for some time - The Glenlivet 12 is my dram if I had to choose between them.

The best whiskey review I’ve seen. Very honest and humble review. So many reviews are kinda snobbish. My first scotch was a Glenlivet 18 year old as a gift. I love the 12 year old Glenlivet and the 14 year old is pretty good too. Definitely subscribing to the channel. You guys rock!

Great review. Might have been said before but Glenfiddich is pronounced without the ch at the end more of a k at the end with a Scottish finish.

Love this review. I bought both of these bottles a month ago to expand into Scotch. Glenfiddich was my favorite of the two.

I have had both bottles in more than four decades, the Glenlivet 12 is often priced almost half the price in several region in America. You will get sales of the product below 40 dollars and seasonal sales that can drop well below 30 bucks. Glenfiddich 12 seems to be priced at least 20% above even when it goes on sale. Both are good whiskey that won't assault the taste preferences of the casual drinker.

Great review, the flavors you taste are the flavors you taste, that's what's great about whisky. Don't worry about what the big dogs say. In this battle it's The Glenlivet 12 for me. May I suggest Glengoyne 12 or 10 as another budget friendly fine whisky.

Glenlivet is always my go to scotch. Just recently tried the Caribbean variety, and I like it as much as the 12, maybe even slightly a bit more.

Thank You guys. Love your review and how honest you are. I alternate between bottles and take the time to check out others as a second tasting. Love your common man review. Try the Founders Reserve by Glenlivet as I hear that they are moving 12 yr to the shelf in the near future. Against the grain as well, try the cube of ice and cover it with the scotch to open it up more, although I like your bottle cap idea.

The only i try is Woodford Reserve Double Oaked and by recommendation I purchase a Buffalo Trace but my wife is more into Brandy and Cognac. Very good review
