It's Big Mountains, No Kids 2! Here's the video of our trip to Telluride, Colorado that we went on in March 2020.
Telluride has won a number of 'best ski resort in North America' awards, so we thought it was our journalistic duty to see if it lived up to the hype.
We flew in to Denver and drove through The Rockies, stopping for a night in the beautiful town of Salida by the Arkansas River. We skied for one day at Monarch Mountain before heading over to Telluride for five days on the slopes.

Well done on all aspects. Skied Telluride many times and your commentary is quite accurate. Your choice of staying in town rather than in the purpose built village was, IMO, the right choice, especially for someone wanting to experience the American West. Telluride in the summer and winter is amazing!! I’m here skiing right now, and the skiing is incredible! I’ve come skiing here for 12 years now and it’s so beautiful! There’s so many runs to ski, and you should definitely come!

This is fantastic. As an Ohio native that travels to Colorado a lot, I love this. We go through Salida to get to Mount Princeton Hot Springs which we hit every time we are out there. Was awesome to see you went to Monarch too. An awesome small resort. Great watch, very enjoyable. Makes me want to make the extra miles to Telluride. Sub'd.

I’m actually in telluride right now, and I’ve been skiing here every year since I was 2. Telluride truly is incredible, I absolutely love it!! They have sooo many runs, so you can never get bored!! It’s not really the best place for beginners, as it only has two green runs, but it’s so so amazing! I have no complaints at all!!

It has way more than 2 greens is thought.. but it does have a lot of double greens I’m pretty sure Edit: just realized that it only has 3 greens lol… but it does have a lot fo double greens to make up for that like galloping goose

I’ve never been skiing and I found this video absolutely amazing. It was so well put together and thought out. I loved the blend of personality, information, scenery and narrative. You’re so uniquely yourself on camera and it is so refreshing and enthralling to watch. I’ll definitely have to give skiing a go whenever this pandemic has passed. When I lived in northern AZ I skied the Rockies from Whitefish down to Taos and Two Hell U Ride was one of my favorite places to visit in the summer and winter. So many 14ers to climb!!

I can't believe I've only just found this video - brilliant and enjoyable content and made me really want to do a trip like this at some point. One interesting thing is that those bras and beads in the tree were something I noticed when visiting Canada from the UK (maybe it's some bizarre tradition??)

I'm an American who now lives in Colorado, and has lived in Lake Tahoe, CA in the past. Go to Squaw Valley. You will thank me. Spring skiing there is particularly incredible. Go to Alpine next door where they grow some amazing California Corn.

Saalbach in Austria is great! A village directly at the bottom of the mountain with 3 gondolas linking 3 separate ‘resorts’. Good nightlife and friendly people. Great video by the way Robbie, your skiing videos are the best!

I was the 3rd person on the lift on opening day. I threw the first back flip on that mountain at the age of 15 1973. Born and raised in the San Juan Mountains and love Telluride. Bluegrass festival and especially the chair 6.

Great video. I am looking for places to ski out west next year. So far I have I have been to Park City, Deer Valley, Copper, Vail, and Snow Summit. I am looking into Telluride, Steamboat, Beaver Creek, and Aspen. Looking for a great resort with small queues as you would say. You have another subscriber.

I am from Austria and love skiing in the alps. However I have to admit that Telluride seems to be an awesome ski resort! So many nice trails, hardly people (although I guess this was also because of COVID-19) and what a view! Thank you for this video!

Love Skiing telluride. Moved to Colorado 22 years ago. Secret is to stay in Ouray, Colorado 40 Minutes away and soak in the Hot springs after a long day of skiing.

Nothing beats a great day at a great resort. I once found myself crying as I rode a lift up Jacksonhole because it was so incredibly good.

@@RobbieKnox I loved it there so much. I live in San Diego, so my local mountain is Big Bear, which is great but fairly small. Jacksonhole was my first experience at a big mountain and it just blew me away. The runs were wide open, steep, and long. The scenery was beautiful and even the airport had a cool vibe. Assuming the world gets back to a somewhat normal state, I will make Jacksonhole an anual trip for myself going forward.

First Last, you like big ski resorts. Go to Europe. Alp d’uez or Les arcs. Tree line is much lower than a North America but still MASSIVE

Always hard to beat your first but for me, BMNK 2 delivers & then some. Comprehensive travel review with a cliffhanger conclusion, returning greats of the slopes (Huge Mike Millar Fan) & the drama of the speed competition, that in the current climate with a lack of sport, had me gripped as two giants collided but the core faithful always knew there would be one winner. 9/10 (nothing is perfect)
