7:58 I totally agree with Buckets. I have been wearing the Xero Shoes Prio (original model) for 18+ months and when I went back to wearing the conventional retro sneakers like my Jordan 6s and Nike Air Flight Lites (92), my feet feel super uncomfortable.

Youre doin Gods work. I switched over to barefoot shoes but will only wear or buy them if they are also fashionable. But I also wondered if it would ever be possible to educate the common sneaker head on the science behind barefoot shoes since many of the barefoot influencers and followers are “nerdy” or “hippies” but you are the perfect person to lead the barefoot charge in the sneaker head industry

These are great and if they have a bit more cushion than traditional barefoot trainers then they are exactly what this old man is looking for... Wide toe box for toe splay but a bit more cushion to help my old man joints. Will these be available in mens size 9?

I always loved the Kobe 4 and 5 and never actually purchased them because the toe box is much too narrow. Even his Adidas Crazy 8 (formerly KB8) which I purchased a while back are super tight in the toe box.

I wish all of the iconic silhouettes of the sneaker culture could be made into drop zero, wide toe box, and minimal cushion. The sneakers I had in mind: Jordan 1 Jordan 11 (concord et al) Kobe 4/5/6/etc... Jordan 6 Jordan 7 Jordan 10

Foot shaped basketball shoes…. This is groundbreaking! The thing that’s missing in the barefoot shoe space are colorways. If you can bring “sneakerhead” colorways to these, I’m sold. All I need. I stopped wearing my Nikes, Jordans, etc last year and haven’t stopped. But I do miss the style aspect.

Because they are a "functioning" sneaker, I believe they should've been another color - these are going to get madd dirty super fast. They do look comfy and I know it takes a lot to produce a sneaker so I commend you both for that. But the white was playing it safe for me. Thank you both for your time and dedication to the sneaker community, your sneaker channel is my favorite.

Very nice shoe! Next step is to make a lifestyle colorway implement some nappy suedes leathers and 3m hits with maybe a gum outsole all in say some earth tones with minor hits of bright color somewhere in there. I can see a huge market for that a barefoot/ lifestyle shoe that looks street wear is needed

I purchased myself the Model 2.0 in white just like in this video. I will use them strictly for basketball indoor court use only. I will be using those shoes doing jumping and plyometrics only. I don't play basketball anymore.

Man I saw kneesovertoesguy rocking the v1s, or maybe even a pre v1 prototype what feels like forever ago. It looked cool but I didn’t need shoes at the time, then just found out about the v2. So I search RU-vid for reviews and ITS YOUR SHOE THIS WHOLE TIME? I never made that connection, I watch this channel endlessly for more lifestyle type shoes, but mostly wear barefoot style and love kotg. It’s like worlds colliding The v2 looks sick going to be picking these up asap

I bought version 1 and they are ok. I own ~20 pairs of barefoot shoes and badly wanted the Uncivilized shoe to be the answer to my dream of a true barefoot bball shoe. Maybe the uncalibrated sizing of V1 is the issue as I am a true 9.5 but because V1 was stated on the site that they run small and to order a size or 1.5 size bigger, that’s what I did and ordered a size 11. The size 11 is just too big and feels more like a 10.5 and not a 10. For reference, when I wore Jordans I wore a 10; my Xero 360’s I wear a 9.5, all of my Vivo’s I fit best in a 10 but I do have some size 9’s for ones that I couldn’t find in a size 10 but I really wanted the shoe and all I could find was a 9. I’m definitely going to order V2 of the Uncivilized, I’m just not sure if ai should go with a size 9 or 10. I’m going to see if I can find more reviews of what people say about being in the half size conundrum and what they ended up deciding.
