This video is for every woman that has ruined her hair by overbleaching and overcolouring. After bleaching and colouring my hair since 2013 on a monthly basis, I had ruined my hair up to the point where it was hanging dead beside my face. It had weakened to the point where there was no more aliveness in the hair strand. So I decided to stop bleaching/colouring my hair and let my hair grow out naturally. I've even taken some intense measurements to shave off my hair completely to get a fresh new start with my hair. In this video I'm sharing with you my personal hair journey. My goal is to grow back my hair naturally for the next 3 years. But this time with the wisdom of what is good and healthy for my hair and what I should avoid doing to my hair in the future. This means no more heat, no more chemical hair colouring and avoiding commercial chemical shampoo, conditioner etc.

You're doing the big chop as I did 3yrs ago...so brave! I now have 10 inches of healthy hair! It's so liberating & So FREE!! Plus you can wear wigs if you want. Your hair will be so healthy!

I actually dyed my hair only once and it was a brown color. I’m also letting it grow out but I did not shave it. Instead, I’m just keeping it short and cutting the dead/colored ends little by little until I have none left.

I shaved my head bald september 29 of 2022 due to trich and i have a lot of videos of my journey on my channel. it was the best decision ever, i'm so glad i did it. it felt so liberating and empowering, truly life changing. plus, wigs are great you can switch up your looks so easily without damaging your hair. I don’t plan on dying my hair and keeping it virgin all the way.

There was some healthy brown regrowth though, why did you not just get it cut very short? Do you think it grows back better after being shaved off?

Sandra O'Brien aw thanks 🙏 Yes I loved the liveliness of the regrowth too. I shaved off my hair for many reasons. One of them being, I just wanted a fresh new start. A new canvas to work with. It was a very liberating experience and don’t have any regrets doing it. I still have a shaved head, but I will be growing it out very soon and want to eventually grow it long again. I don’t think it will speed up the hair growth now that I’ve been shaving it for some time. But my hair definitely feels a lot happier and healthier and so do I 🤗

I have been shaving my hair since high school in the 90s and still shave it... not the whole head as I used to as much but I have to shave it somewhere to be happy. That buzzed feeling is unlike anything any hair could ever do :) glad you like it and hope you continue yo have it shaved. It looks very beautiful on you.

Have a magical day I know... My hair was in a terrible condition. After bleaching it way too many times my hair would simply fall apart after I was drying my hair with a towel. But shaving it off really helped let go of my past and embrace a new healthy happy future.

Happy Conscious Living That’s exactly how I feel, I will cut it shorter when it grows out in about 6-7 months. I will never bleach it again, it is so hard to stop doing it. My hair falls out so much everytime I condition it, it is so dry, tangled and just isn’t like before. It was so thick and shiny. Love your personality, you are so kind❤️

Very true and the hair strands will fall out very easy. Coconut oil is aweful. I Don't get the hype as I read many complaints. It's suitable for Asian hair only. Perhaps a marketing move?? Castor oil can suffocate the hair follicles. It's a very thick oil and avoid all synthetic oils sold in shops. They are synthetic and fake. Good luck. Been there done that. Big chop was the best outcome for me after spending a fortune on hair products.
