For the most part unless you’re like me and you make your cars super flashy. Most people either mistake my car for something else or assume I’m all show and no go.
@@meatballs9127 over the last year I’ve grown and matured alot. I built my green T5 to be a circuit track car so it being flashy really wouldn’t matter as much but either way now I definitely prefer really clean oem+ or just clean subtle builds a lot more. I don’t think I could ever go the full sleeper route having a car that’s basically stock on the outside or even raggedy and it just being fast but that’s just me. Maybe I’m just getting old but I don’t even care about going fast as much as I did when I was younger. I just enjoy a clean car with a nice interior that does what it’s supposed to do.
Definitely and honestly imo the NA cars tend to sound better than most of the turbo ones, but I’ve seen that video awesome build. I have a picture of a guy who did a big turbo t5 swap on a e46 m3 but outside of that one picture I don’t think there’s any other pictures or other info on the car.
Don’t have one. I’ve never bought an exhaust in my life I’ve always custom made my own. Pretty much every car in this compilation has a custom made exhaust as well. It’s cheaper and you can have it look and sound how you want.
@@anon1231 the s80 v8 is probably the only good sounding Volvo stock. The 5 cylinder cars are so quiet you’d think they were a EV or hybrid…stock doesn’t really matter because you can’t hear a cars true engine note.
@@T5_T-Rell sick they so quiet. I'm looking for a automatic 4wd volvo with not to much miles. I can change the exhaust later and map the car. Will the t6 after 2011 be a good choice or do you need the ones before like 05 if you want good soundingcar ?
@@anon1231 the 3.0 T6 engine sounds pretty much identical to any N55 BMW. You can look up exhaust videos of Volvo s60 T6 or T6 R designs there isn’t a ton but if it helps I also have a video of a bmw 335i terrorizing a suburban street on my channel that you can watch as well. The engine notes between the Volvo T6 and the bmw N55 are so undistinguishable that if you blindfolded someone and had them listen to the Volvo they’d swear up and down it was a BMW.
