- 500 gr of red lentils;
- 1 medium red bell pepper;
- 1 large carrot;
- 1/2 parsnip;
- 3 medium onions;
- 1/2 medium celery root;
- 250 ml tomato juice;
- 1.5-2 liters of water;
- 50 ml olive oil;
- 4-5 cloves of garlic;
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric;
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper;
- 3 small bay leaves;
- 1 level tablespoon of sweet smoked paprika;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano;
- 1 sprig of rosemary;
- 3-4 sprigs of lemon thyme;
- 6-8 olives;
