@@CaptainJack Think of it this way. If you do the AI update stuff on a space station, the only ground all the automated moving parts and drone ships can potentially clang with will be asteroids and each other. Er, sorry, not drones. Robots. drones are not allowed.
7:14,about space battle,in the game there's an actual space battle event happen where Babylon encountered a upgraded version of ISS space station which is infected and constantly bombarding Babylon.
I can invision it being attacked. And in the aftermath, converting one or more of the 4 wings in to ships. to replace battle losses. . And then dispatching the remains to a super high G planet to keep the enemy from using it for anything. 0.01c
Ngl, that is a really cool idea, especially now with AI blocks, you could have parts of your ship that can detach and attack alongside you, and either return to reconnect, or come up alongside and stop so you can manually reconnect (not sure if I'd trust AI to connect on its own yet) But either way, that would be pretty cool
IRL that would suck to work in, there is sooo many stairs you would either be worn out by the time you get to the top or bottom or you just boosted your way .
Oh, make it like one of the races that the AI had defeated in one of your prior episodes and make that like an orbital Defense of a planet that is no longer inhabited, but the AI couldn’t get to and defeat because of the defenses on the space station
I mean it's cool, sure. However massive??? This is hardly what i consider to be "massive". should slap the standard "red ship" out there for scale, if you're trying to show size.
looks cool for sure, but I'm not sure it would hold up well in a battle, lots of exposed bombs in the form of those hydrogen tanks, granted that never stops plot armor lol

I've checked out quite a few space stations and like shipyards and stuff, and I've found they all seem to have the same major flaws. NONE of them are survival friendly. I don't mean in terms of like building them, they're obviously herculean to build. All these ships and stations though, are just MISSING important features for survival in Space Engineers and just PLAYING THE GAME. Every station I've checked out will have NO location to craft items, it'll have like TWO refineries, IF IT HAS THEM AT ALL, it has no sorters to actually retrieve materials from your ships. It's a lot of FORM, but not a lot of FUNCTION. I'm NOT good at building, I'm just not, so I've been searching out on the workshop somewhere I could make my central base and NONE of them have had the basic things I'm looking for. It's all mazes like this station or set pieces. Like the only way to play Space Engineers is to pretend to have a nap in one of the 20 beds the station for some reason has, instead of some refineries and a FUNCTIONING conveyor system. I've literally tried out ships and stations that just had things NOT connected so I couldn't even recharge my Hydrogen despite the station SUPPOSEDLY have lots of hydrogen storage. One station used huge lines of oxygen tanks for DECORATION! And none of them were even connected to the conveyor system, SO THEY DID NOTHING! They were lined up as if to be used as storage, but then they cannot store anything! I've searched EVERYWHERE on several stations and it seems people actually make an effort to HIDE any access to storage and refineries and such! Like I literally cannot find the assemblers. There is no master assembler that I can walk up to and put my next project into the build planner. These things LOOK like amazing bases, but they don't FUNCTION as bases at all. Sometimes I can't craft things AT ALL because the conveyor system is so broken. I just wanted to craft some ammo for my turrets, I KNEW there was all the materials to make them, and it just didn't craft because the assemblers were NOT HOOKED UP TO THE STORAGE SYSTEM! Then there's scripts. OH. Some things have scripts to run certain functions (and no tutorials on how to use them, thanks a ton) but lots of them just for NO REASON don't have a single programmable block that CLOSES THE DOORS BEHIND YOU! On a fairly small ship, fine, space is a premium. But this is a SPACE STATION! Why do I need to turn around and close my own DOOR? I know the game should have this as a function of every door by default, but come on the script is literally run and done. Practicality is just not considered when these builds are being made. They LOOK very neat, but you wouldn't actually wanna live there. I find it embarrassing people would spend countless hours crafting this majestic ass space station, and yet somehow neglect to put down any SIGNS. They KNOW nobody's gonna actually use this in a real survival world, it's a set piece. That's it. They're all just set pieces, or somehow broken.
There are plenty of survival friendly things on the Steam Workshop, have a good look around and you can easily find them. Or you could build them yourself :D
I've looked at a tonne of stations on the workshop - if you want to see an amazing one, check out Astral Station - its much better than this one in my personal opinion.
