I’m div 4 but I use behind the net, I find it most effective for me since I think I’m pretty good at the game. It’s just that I started this december and my best players are similar to your 4th line. I used to be an Div 1 player years ago but I haven’t been able to go back there for years, I struggle with scoring especially on this new game.
It make sense, most of the time lowers divisions go after set plays or do straight lining most of the time so overload helps with AI being in the right positions.
Yup thts why i do "Crash the Net" "Crash the Net" CRASH THE NET! Its my fav way of playing and i want my players to be there for rebounds since goalies are so op in this game lol 😂
It works really good but if you use smaller forwards with the new way of “pushing” players away from in front of the goal isn’t working, just if you use bigger guys
@@DinoKrista Overload is meh but it really makes it hard to do one timers because all your guys are on same side.. and Behind the Net is so cheesy because of that backdoor pass or lacrosse goals lol
Can't score for love or money. I'm just sitting back and counter attacking and hoping for the best. My team is a hi rated team and still lose to a lower rated team. Do I bin my players and start again but with meta players.
To be very honest, NHL is all about the ways you score. This year the most scored goal is wrist shot from the middle of O zone so just keep doing it, one times from blue line also go in as far as there is someone in front of the net to tip it in. No need to bin your team but as the overall progression goes it will impact how your players play. If you have players with 94+ shooting it will help. Just keep trying for the same type of goals and it will work eventually. Defensively is all about taking your time and not chase. Let your Ai do the thing and just cover the net and once Ai get the puck straight line and cross crease
My lack of patience with the puck won't allow me to move up into Division 3 or better. It's not easy making passes in this game due to controller lag in 1v1 Online Versus games. Zone Camera does help with seeing opponents changing lines and you can sometimes catch a breakaway opportunity if you time your outlet passes correctly.
Yea, your team should fully transfer over as it’s on your account, on Xbox at least it’s working like that. When I lived from series s to x all transferred over
