Absolutely love acorn squash. My mom used to make baked acorn squash every fall. It was my favorite especially with her pork chops. I need to make this.

These were absolutely amazing. I used Italian shaved parmesan and spicy peppers and onions instead of apples. Also I used part chicken stock and part tomato sauce. There are so many little Italian twists you can do to this. Whateva's in the fridge!

Well done video. Brief and covers everything well. I make one similar but roast with a touch of maple syrup when roasting and replace the bread crumbs with stuffing mix. Happy it fall and the food that comes along with it!

My dad used to make acorn squash for us with only salt, pepper and butter. I loved it! I'm going to make yours before the holidays to have for myself, then make it for them, lol. My grandkids may not try it, but my sons will love it, I'm sure. Thank you for this recipe! I'm sharing and looking forward to watching more.

I made these today using 4 acorn squash. The stuffing seemed really wet so I added extra breadcrumbs and cheese. Something different and tasty.

Yup you got to really bake it. Baking them upside helps them steam and cook faster initially. Hope you enjoy it!

You can speed up cooking time by microwaving them 5-10 minutes, cup side down with a little water and plastic wrap to keep the steam in.

I know I'll get cursed at but I pre cook the squash in the microwave for 7 minutes then bake in oven with filling. Or just nuke in MW for 10 minutes with NY maple syrup and butter salt and pepper.
