I'm a big bourbon guy from the US and I just grabbed a bottle of this from a shop when visiting Edinburgh. Picked it after a tasting of 5 different glasses.
I’m enjoying my bottle, for me I get more lemon/ citrus rather than apple. May have to drink a little more to see if I get that apple note. For £50 it’s a no brainer for me!
Lovely liquid! Tbf I've seen some of the belting stuff you get out there we'll never get our hands on... Im surprised these guys don't have some going out your neck of the woods. Cheers!
Hi Ben. I opened mine as soon as it arrived, but didn't enjoy it as much as you evidently did. I saw your earlier clip about this whisky, so was chuffed to get it. I find it quite dry and sharp, but I've had bottles before that taste better later on, so will give it a chance. Cheers for vor another great video.
Honestly, when most bottles turn up i might give them a wee swig from the bottle... just a nip... but rarely do I enjoy that as much as pouring a dram and letting it breathe for a bit. I don't recall my thoughts on this immediately, but I'm definitely enjoying it now! Cheers 🥃
