About nair. Mixing up regular and reverse nairs is decently effective, since they have different timing, and one is better as an anti-air/air to air and the other is better against shield.

Landing up air is really dope, I've been playing around with it recently after I saw a vid of Shishyo where they went for landing weak upair into strong upair to get some nice kills, it's quite safe on shield, the shield pressure you can get with it is great and if it hits the combo potential is amazing Also this is unrelated but I love seeing you use reverse nair, it's a difficult input for me to get down but I've been practicing it cus I think there's untapped combo/string potential there, like isn't nair to reverse nair true at 0 if I'm remembering correctly? if so that's dope Anyways dope playing as always 🤙 and yes, gale stab is cracked asf I can't wait to see what the future holds for swordie with that move lol

If you jump above them & cross them up, you can nair & it’ll naturally be a reverse while being 100% safe . It also has good range so you can take your turn after doing a cross up nair Also if it hits, you can get a tech chase with power thrust . Jab lock if you’re close enough

I picked up the character after I watched the shishyo set about 10 months ago and I've been running Gale stab since. I can definitely agree, gale stab is insane. The mix ups for disadvantage are crazy good and make it very easy to reset neutral. The movement it grants is crazy fast, the sweet spot height to the lagless landing is amazing. On flat stages, if the opponent is in the air, I just charge it and threaten their landing. If you time it right it resets the advantage or just straight up kills. I just struggle with closing out stocks in that last hit, last game scenario. Any tips? My moveset is 1213.

A lot of it comes down to your own composure as a player to stay collected and not give out the last chance to the opponent to win the game by using safe pressure like spacing back airs that kill or trying to look for a Shuriken power thrust. Getting down your down throw up airs is huge as well, very key to closing out stocks, check out the down throw up air guide if you haven't yet

Aside from downthrow upair you run stone scabbard which allows you some big advantages. Use it to claim stocks on stages with platforms, light characters like fox lose a stock at 89% when the move drags them up a platform like on small battlefield. up B out of shield as a response from some big attacks will KO for you. Since the move can strike in a large range quickly you can catch some people through their air attacks or recoveries and claim a stock on the second hit. Stone Scabbard is our best recovery able to recover from far deeper than anything else we have and is absolutely one of the best vertical recoveries in the game. You are able to bring your air attacks and offstage presence to destructive ranges because of this. meaning, as a strategy getting them off stage gives you way more advantage against them. power thrust or tornado into up air is best way to close stock, or a gale stab charge off a recovery.

i'm a bit surprised you don't use Gale strike against Bowser Jr/Koopalings Also idk how relevant it is to time but if you slow chakram past ledge (doing a down slow chak) and it hits Bowser Jr during his recovery he will fall off and not get his clow kart back. He'll probably be able to avoid that by angling his up b differently though (starting below the stage like he did in the FD game)

I've had some MU exp against Bwsrjr and I have to say the match is +1 in our favor. Shuriken stops them from setting up/camping Since I run blurring blade I notice that Bowser Jr's weight and recovery options tend to make landing a blurring blade much easier. And lastly, Tornado is not a good pick. Good players will skirt around it and set-up off the lag the move has. More koopa bombs, more cannonballs. If it wasn't for shuriken of light gale stab would be our best move for sure.

What makes you not respect Bowser Jr? Cause I feel like many people feel that way about the Miis even though I love em haha. Good gameplay though keep it up 👍

You might have killed Roy earlier with bair because you hit his head as opposed to his body. I know it affects percents, but not sure about knockback

I heard you saying you don’t like Gale Strike (Wind Neutral B). Is there a reason ? I think it’s really good at controlling space where Shuriken is good for poking . I feel they both have their uses
