vambat is also a decent alternative cuz it resists duskit stab and helps you deal with 1st theatre's light type, however it is weak to fire so you need to pair it with a twittle for beating 2nd theatre
My list: Weevolt (Breeze through 3rd and 4th battle theatre and THE BIG SUBMARINE FIGHT). Not a single battle theatre weevolt is bad in aswell Geklow: Has shine which is good for 1st battle theatre (good at catching loomians aswell). Igneol: Good for 2nd and 3rd Battle theatre Revenine: Agree cause it outspeeds and does lots of damage Dyborg: Just amazing
I'd put Dyeborg as one of the best story Loomians. It evolves fairly early and has coverage against Sepharite Theatre, Protogon, Samarine, and Atlanthian Theatre.
I feel like Collosotrops could be a good replacement for obsidrugon if you don't want the long grinding session for it and it's great against the water theatre, and samarine just make sure to make it hold a metal pearl for samarines heavy bashes.
Your starter doesn't really need to be super effective against the 2nd,3rd and 4th gym. For the second gym you could use paratweet ,for the third one you can use eruptidon and for the fourth you can use colosstrops instead of jolthooth cuz jolthooth is weak to water and u can also use dyeborg to get extra support.Your starter could be a eaglit lile you mentioned and the reasoning is same.
fr, 90% of non-event non-roaming loomians in the game have absolutely abyssmal level-up movepools, so those: tsunami MM you can obtain on the beach, body slam and venom chomp you can get on freshly-caught whimpor and burroach respectively, and gardrone's move tutor moves really come in handy, since you can reverse rally them onto your loomians to get actually good moves
If you’re allowing rallying then boarrok would probably be best in my opinion because its regular ability (boast) is amazing which makes it become a potential sweeper on the very first turn with some really good coverage, it’ll probably only struggle on the 4th gym but you’ll have a ton of counters to water types by then.
I chose dripple, and I plowed through the early game lmao, metal gym was slightly harder but get a good fire or electric type and train them up, and you’ll be set
Before I yap I just want to say I’m not insitgating and this is just my personal opinion I feel like Zuelong is a better starter, because it demolishes the metal and water gym, and the samarine fight. Ik you might struggle against duskit, but if you can catch one of the many available bug types in gale forest to chip down the duskit, while you finish it off with weevolt. Dyeborg is also looked over, as you only have to wait at the night, but the poison coverage with paint shower is AMAZING. You can’t spam paint shower, but a 100 bp move that hits all targets is BROKEN for the 4th battle theatre. Other than that almost every loomian is viable. For example, catching a twittle helps with the fire gym, gale forest, igneous hollow, and can still be helpful later in the game. For the 4th member, eruptidon works well, as if you want a good soul burst for the later game, it’s a good candidate. Erupt gets fire moves, mudslide, and set up, along with an immunity to fire(combustible) if that matters to you. Finally colossotrops is a great mon, as it solos the 4th gym (not the first trainer) with sap plants, good coverage, and more. There are better teams but this is what I was thinking of, since they have good synergy with each other

Soul burst wasn't high on my priority list since you (currently) ONLY gain access to it after doing LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE POSSIBLE IN THE STORY. (Thanks LTS) Anyways I agree with your points and this team seems to hold up very well as mentioned. I'll keep it in mind when making a potential part 2.
luminami's role is a pivoter, but in a non sa form it can be a very nice ranged wallbreaker with sleet shot, gamma pulse, maroon, and peace of mind. but that's my opinion
Tbh babore would be helpful with the first 3 gyms cause of the geklows in the first gym and the other 2 gyms (their typings are self explanatory) While including the boast ability to help beating the gyms
ice is crazy broken it beats mum fight + the entire forest + gets early snowdozer for plowing through hard fights + gets earth coverage for the 2nd and 3rd gym but its not great for fourth gym
In my opain grabites could be better then geklow bug and earth covers fire plante electirc toxic and these lomians realy dont bave those cover also with high melee attack and high could really help
Lemme tell you: 1. Dripple. Although it's sorta weak to the first gym, its super effective against both of her Gecklows, and the Next gym. It's also neutral against the last one, so I enjoy using it. 2. Cathorn. Hear me out, although you might have trouble with the second one, grind it up enough, and just get through with status effects. 3. Get a friend to trade you Dobo. It's just about the strongest thing early game, with barely any weaknesses, and super effective against the 3rd gym. AND, it's neutral against the last one. Trust, once it gets Pyrokenesis, you might be good. 4. Duskit. Spirit/Mind isn't that bad of a combination, and its moves aren't too bad either. If you're lucky enough to find one, catch it. 5. Finally, like he said, Gecklow.

babore(borroak) are only good in the 2nd battle theatre and 3rd battle theatre and it gets demolished in the 4th battle while eleguana is decent all the way through and peaks at alt p2
I did not forget about them. It's true that I didn't mention them, but that's because they're only accessible at the very end of the (current) story. Given the fact that this video is looking at the best team for the story, it wouldn't make sense to include Loomians that can soul burst, since you wouldn't be able to use it until after it's needed.

wendolin is bad because mastery is needed for vary pretty sure you also need it for thunder fruit not 100% sure on that also eaglit is just not that great for the battle theatres as well as that gecklow beyond the first theatre also snocub is literally better for the start of the game is not going to be that helpful till evolved igneol is a bit rare but your making me think shawchi then even though you probably wanna reverse rally
