You know why I despise speedrunners? They keep hiding behind this illusion of speed called cheating while it doesn't matter what they do, they can compete in ANYTHING and still be winners. If they don't use any exploits, they will still form a ladder of champions. So WHY use exploits? It adds nothing. It simply makes the path shorter. Like running 95 meters instead of 100 at the Olympics. Who the hell cares how much if they BOTH run the same distance? Instead of all this nonsense I'd gladly see a skill contest. Show something cool. Show how quickly you can destroy enemies, not run the game. Show aim, show dodging, show anything that requires skill, not being boringly cheating. And no, I don't care how much time they spend seeking these exploits. In fact, the amount of time they sink into that is absurd. To me it would be impressive to see how fast people can master a game starting at day 1 when they bought it. ANYONE can find shortcuts if they waste YEARS playing the same damn maps over and over. This is insanity. This is repetitive actions in hope of different results. That's mud. The illusion of speed, not speed. Since every second saved took them a month of practice. BS. Olympic runners train too? Well they can run ANYWHERE, they gain real skill. A speedrunner cannot use the found exploits in any other game, they suck at games, they can't shoot, can't teamplay, can't do anything. Otherwise they'd become champions of, say, Dota International. They don't take part in any money winning competitions because they suck. That's why to me it's the lowest cast of gamers. Even below MMORPG farming no-lifers. What they do is beyond boring. 97% of speedruns should not exist due to being ungodly boring.

Healing grenades can also proc Ember of Benevolence which is another ability cooldown multiplier which in theory should stack with Feel the Flames as well as Death Throes
Lol if you really want to do that sure but that'd be a very weird way to use the exotic. It's a dps build. You can you use it for a survival and or add clear build but what it's for is dps. That why you an deal 6 mil easily against master atheon. I've seen someone get up to 10 mil using Verity's brow, erianas vow to proc death throes and take out oracles, and cataphract with spike nodes, demolitionist, and bait and switch for add on dmg
@@Dakinekine DPS isn't the be-all-end all if you're like me who runs a TON of GMs or Onslaught. DPS is only a small subset of the game and a lot of people treat it like it's all that matters.
Aegis, this is the first video I've seen from your channel and I enjoyed all of it. Also, I believe everything in the game is busted... it's only a matter of time until someone figures out some kind of crazy combination of weapons, mods, equipment and game mechanics.
Just not worth it imo. Verities has only been worth it for me when you have an offensive damaging grenade. If it affects the threadlings grenade maybe. But may aswell go for nezarecs or eye if another world. They give other abilities too.
@@benwarne189 Yeah, from what I heard, at least for Hunter, there is going to be a 5 second cool down between uses of the Grapple. I am trying to think about how It could work, and it seems that it just wont. Not unless you are using a Tangle.
I would love to see a dungeon or raid damage test using verity's vs starfire or even the amount on increased damage it gives to a HOI titan during damage phases
Great video. My friend and I have been using a duo Verity's Brow setup for years and we always wondered why no one ever talked about running two Verity's at the same time. I REALLY hope this doesn't end up getting Verity's nerfed 😬
considering how long HOIL has reigned supreme for titan ability spam, verity's is likely to be fine for a while, I'd argue that outside of team applications it could use a small buff so it's more viable for solo play

This plus a Demo/Incan BXR is nutty. Add in a blinding GL and Gally and you got an amazing build. Also, if you can’t fashion Varitys well, you don’t deserve it.
Grenades will have an instant recharge time anywhere you are able to receive a third or fourth nade regn buff. This includes atheon, votd with into the light, and any like places and or mods. All in all a really fun build to use in raids to melt bosses. Personally I've been using nothing manacles in master/GM content aside a veritys user. This allow me to proc devour and is the highest DMG void nade when got hit the target just right. This is assuming they fixed the bug where you deal less damage when nothing manacles is equipped which I will test later. Still a banger either way.
I always liked Verity's every once and a while for solo play. But holy shit, from what I'm understanding: 2 Verity's Brows = infinite grenades for everyone lol
Hey man! Good video, one small bit of incorrect information. Feel the Flames has a duration of 2 seconds times the number of death throes stacks, so when you had 4x death throes and threw your grenade, you saw Feel the Flame x4 to indicate 2x4=8 seconds of duration of the buff applied. Then in the same clip you got 5x death throes, threw your grenade, and saw feel the flame x5 meaning you gave your teammates 10 seconds of the buff. Other than that, good video! Opened my eyes to the power of Verity's, gotta get myself a good roll of them for GMs and raids. This information comes from DIM's community insights.
DIM's community insights are based around the D2 Data Compendium, which was recently updated to reflect some new testing that was done in the community. That data is incorrect, and as of current testing (which I've done myself), Feel the Flames is always a 5 second buff no matter how many stacks of Death Throes you have. It also seems that the number of stacks you have upon throw has very little noticeable impact on the grenade regen scalar applied to your teammates. The stack count next to the buff simply refers to the number of teammates you are currently giving Feel to - you will see the number fluctuate as teammates enter and exit your aura.

something i'd be interested in seeing is stasis warlock as a solo feel the flames provider, as i think you can easily get a duskfield (without turrets equipped) cd with death throes to below 5 seconds. Obviously in this situation the warlock wouldn't be doing any damage themselves with grenades, but they should be able to provide full uptime for a 5 HOIL titan team. Obvs this also sacrifices well, so unless the team has a source of good healing (or invulnerability, think oryx) and damage buff (lumina) this probably wouldn't be as good as 2 fusion veritys warlocks, but it's an interesting thought. (The same would also go for a firebolting solar warlock as a sole provider, using ember of benevolence as a grenade cd booster for example, now that i think about it, plus you'd still have well that way)
Firebolt grenades have a slightly lower base cooldown and I think Heat Rises giving Cure to nearby allies and procing Ember of Benevolence might also be a good idea, but I haven't really played around with solo Feel uptime. I'll certainly try out a few things when I have some time!
If anyone needs to farm Atheon, using Verities brow w/Xenophage to kill harpies until X5 Death Throes + the Atheon ability regen. gives you a grenade every 2 seconds and each fusion grenade hits for 500k. That 1 Million dmg every 4 seconds. Starfire doesnt even compare. Thats only for Atheon though since the harpies constantly respawn, also probably only 2 warlocks can do this as there is not enough adds.
Does "eating" your grenade proc feel the flame? My initial guess would be no and I unfortunately don't have Verity's brow, but I was looking to see if someone would know. Interesting video all around Aegis
I use void verity with gnawing hunger perked with demo, and bad omens with cluster. All 3 weapons have auto load. Plus I get volatile for my void weapons. And devour. Plus a weakening/suppression leech on my rift
Hey, I was curious. I know you can animation cancel the grenade throwing animation by switching weapons. Think you can run 2 QD weapons and run a test in Vow? I feel like that'd be beyond overkill but it would look really funn on video.
@@TheAegisRelic after testing it out, it's not possible. You can only cancel the animation on the Spike, Thunder, and Tripmines. Even then you can't throw them because the grenade itself has a lockout time before you can use it again even with full energy.
Any good void primary that you suggest for a void verity's build, or it's better to double special on this? Don't really know all good lightfall weapons..
If I'm understanding this correctly, the ideal timing for two verity warlocks would be Warlock A throws at t-5 Warlock B throws as soon as damage starts, t=0 Warlock A + B can start spamming throws after damage starts? Continue until CWL runs out?
If you time this correctly even without CWL you can keep Feel uptime at 100%, but yeah you want to throw at every 5s or so (you can also throw in between to do more damage)
Thanks for the video, been testing it too and my teammates often lost their buff and we couldnt say why. What i would like to know is how are 2 veritys brow users permamently getting kills to have death throes aktive, while a hoil titan throws storm grenades on steroids and sort of steal all the kills.
If only Death Throes affected the stacks of Cure and Restoration provided by Healing Grenade, even if it was half as much as the damage buff. We could get rarely seen Cure x3 and the much coveted Restoration x3 at Death Throes x5
Ya so with the new defiant artifact I wanted to use with firebolt nades. Well it was okay then I tried fusion nades and they’re fucking so insane with death throes. I knew they were better but it’s insane how much a x5 fusion does and with submission I can get that one nade back so fast and can actually move around and play solar warlock instead of sitting in a rift using Starfire
I was thinking: if there are 3 Warlocks each using verity, at a certain point each of of them will benefit from a full grenade recharged, because each time an allied verity throws a grenade it regens basically 50% of ur grenade iirc so since two of them throw grenades at a given time then the third one will have the grenade fully charged so this vicious cycle between 3 warlocks will go on for until death thrones buff is active. Unless some ads spawn and then the buff can be reapplied individually to themselves after they are killed and continue the cycle, right?

Still idk how to farm the right roll lol. Nightfalls give everything except this ;-; . For now I'll keep using my eye of another world stasis turret build with shards that become elemental wells and give double grenade energy and with the stasis arms grenade mod
Every cool build is always warlock or hunter on occasion. I swear every bungie dev mains warlock in PvE and hunter in PvP. I think they forget titans exist. When was the last time you saw a good titan build that wasn't Loreley or Heart of inmost light? I mean HoiL is strong but starfire protocol is stronger. Everytime titans get something strong it is either quickly nerfed or is quickly powercrept by another classes exotic. Titans had the highest damaging super for 1 season with cuirass.... then hunters got star eater scales. One of the most fun build titans had was dunemarchers with baby hammer. Once people started using that bungie took that away. We all know its only a matter of time before they nerf HoiL (while starfire is getting a buff with the solar changes in lightfall). Then we all go back to loreley then that gets nerfed again. Titans were excited to get a new super with strand thinking "maybe we will get a super that is strong and doesn't require being 2mm away from a boss to use" oh nope another melee roaming super... oh wait its not even new... its spectral blades... but green... Maybe we get some cool aspects? Nope we get flinch resistance. Flinch resistance that isn't even active all the time. Only active after picking up the strand ball thing... that can be shot... Because no one is going to shoot those before we can grab them. Anyways Veritys Brow has been incredible for a long time. Its always funny to watch it bubble up as people realize how good it really is. Same with Eye of Another World.

But yeah titans did have boss melt builds but after the baby hammer nerf titans had to fully build into it so it was a very niche thing. Anyways the rant was because I was just upset seeing the titan strand stuff and not thinking clearly. Future aspects and stuff will make strand titan better.
Did I just hear Arc Warlock not very strong? Fallen Sunstar is one of the most busted builds atm. Also, I tried Veritys with a friend and stasis, and we got up to 8 turrets out at the same time.

@@123beserk Hunter have Arc Cowl, Titans have Syntho Hammers and HoIL Storms, and Warlocks have Starfire Fusions, Verity's Fusions, and I'd say Contra is still pretty good
