I would never, ever trust all my work and expense to a knot. Knots fail. I might do this, but I would still weave in long tails just in case the knot came loose and the piece had to be mended.

@@sallysughroue222same. I do a different type of knot that has never failed me but I still weave the ends cuz I'm paranoid and as you said, knots fail

Although the knot is very secure , I never cut the ends off that close to the knot I leave those ends and crochet in with my work or weave them in

This is my favorite way to join yarn! It’s so simple and you can’t notice it at all if you’re using a fuzzier yarn- it’s my go to :)
