what you doing here on this car reminds me so much of my late uncle who was in VWs.... so we would have more then one mk2 jetta's on the back yard and we would mess around with the donor jetta's and get better parts for the one he's working on. it was great having him around as a kid and would show us stuff we ddn't know about cars and that made him the coolest uncle man,,he passed on the love to me and my broes. that jetta looks so good.

I was thinking, if you had access to a weld, you could rig up a portable English wheel and smooth out the dents on the fender.

Take the spline adapter off the parts column you can pull it off with a bearing splitter it slides on like the mk3

Thanks for the tip to keep the auto starters going, gotta try that on my buddys mk2. Btw i am pretty sure you can use the spline adapter off of a mk3 on an old mk2
