Hello, I am a Chinese girl named Petal who has lived in Beijing for more than one decade I saw the video you posted to introduce Chinese tourist attractions on RU-vid, and I guess that you might be a travel expert or a travel company. If I didn’t offend you, could I ask you that do need a local tour guide in Beijing or China to assist your team when traveling to China. If you have this consideration, we can cooperate. If not, we can also be friends, and you are welcome to travel to China again. Feel free to Email to me if you have any question!

@@李海燕-m8c Hey. I am just travelling the world and sharing my experience via RU-vid. We absolutely loved China and we’ll be back in the future. My mum and dad are heading to China in 5 weeks with a tour company as well 🤝

I heard that Westerners eat burgers, fried chicken, French fries, Coke, coffee, sandwiches, steak, pizza, pasta, cereal, and milk for three meals a day. Is this true? Or do Americans and Europeans have different diets?

I always struggle in Asia as I’m severely allergic to nuts, so I have to be super careful what I eat. In terms of the UK we try and eat the best things from every country. I love Japanese and Italian the most! Love cooking as well. I’m not a huge fan of fast food, but have it from time to time. I’ve not been to the US for a while, so not to much insight there. Florida when I was 6 and New York at 16… a long time ago now 😂 What’s your top 3 favourite foods/ cuisine?

@@gazwrighttravel I like to eat Chinese food, Korean barbecue, Japanese sushi, and sashimi. Sometimes I eat Western food, such as burgers, French fries, fried chicken, steak, and pizza.

@@BB-yi6qn Asian food is so much better than 'western' food in my opinion. We only have Italian that can come close :) pizza and pasta - the dream

There is no such thing as the jiaobaekou district. Where is that hutong ? Thanks
@gazwrighttravel

@@jmm5599 oh really? The Hutong we walked down was right in front of the Lama Palace. I was doing my best to tag things from Apple Maps and search engines that work as most are banned in China 🥶

Nice, positive video. Maybe check with some English speaking locals to get the pronunciation right.

Hey - thanks for the message. Thats the hardest part of making travel content - getting the pronunciation right. I usually just go with how they are spelt and then people can at least look them up for theirselves. Which one did I pronounce the worst?
@janetleeadams7287

@@gazwrighttravel I DID like your video. Transcription of Chinese into English phonetics has a few problems. To begin, Beijing. The 'j' is a hard sound like 'Judge.' I hear it pronounced both ways, but in China, the people use the hard j. Q is a problem. Roughly, Q is pronounced like our 'ch.' So, Ching or China or Chin. There is actually a need to curl the tongue sometimes for Q, other times to make the sound with teeth almost closed. But don't worry. I spent two years in Chinese class and three years in China and I still make mistakes.

@@janetleeadams7287 my language skills generally are pretty shocking, but Chinese in particular is like something off a different planet. Props to you for learning :) I have another China video going live tonight, this time on the Great Wall. Check it out and I'm sure I will have miss pronounced some more things on there haha :)
