I don't know. It looks like a few seconds before the french uprising the soviets had already started attacking and the axis sent mainly romanian soldiers, who were fighting in the center but no on the north.

It is. HOI3 is a far better game. Paradox really droped the ball with Hol4. Vanilla HOI4 doesnt do pinching manouvers, its unlocked by DLC...

@@alakazor9643 theater - army group - army - corps - divisions keep your corps commands near your divisions, armies a bit further back, etc commanders closer to division level give more bonus to the divisions, but the higher they are the more divisions they affect (ie a field marshall of incredible skill will have only a small effect, but over all your divisions, whereas a brilliant division leader will have a great effect, but only on one division)

As a swiss dude: our politicians knew they wouldnt have any chance resisting; as they were squished in between germany/austria & italy; but they also knew that the only way not to be sucked up into nazidom would be to stuck to the "neutrality"-thing (which wasnt even invented; its literally inscribed in our very law; since before 1900; that we may never take offensive action); but at the same time offering hitler to "store" his gold reserves as a neutral bank. Well; it worked out. Switzerland stayed unharmed; and as a side effect the banks just kept the gold when hitler died. So basically; our very basis of wealth & standards; is built upon the gold of nazis and jewish; and we now live in a wonderful land; forever stained bc its wealth literally sprang from overtaking the bloodsplattered gold from the "evil people" and allover being very opportunistic. Hitler once said; around 41: "Die Schweiz; das Stachelschwein; das nehmen wir im Rückweg ein" ("Switzerland; little hedgehog (bc of the form of the borders); we'll take you on our way back"); so it was clear to all swiss people that if he was successful in france/russia; theyd be next. Agree, HOI3 is far, far better then HOI4. Just look at the YT-vids. "Luxemburg annexes Germany", thats just lame.

HoI3 is the same timeframe as HoI4, paradox does centuries by games Crusader Kings 2 -> Europa Universalis IV -> Victoria 2 -> HoI 4 and you can use a save converter for a mega campaign, and if you want you can recreate your word in Stellaris to take to the stats and expand

Both, you can actually automate almost everything in the game, in the upper right corner, there should be an option for that screen to be handled manually or by the AI. Units are automated by assigning them to a theatre which is then automated through the theatre unit window.

@@RB33z Ah okay. Are there certain occasion where I have to intervene? For instance say I have to assign new troops that are freshly trained to a theatre or are they automatically assigned?

I think you have to manually assign it to the theatre but then it reorganizes it automatically with corps and such.

Chase Weber It’s a mod. The US gets part of france so they actually fight in europe, trying to liberate their french lands. I’d honestly like that mod, because in my germany game the US has done nothing but attack Japan. Seems to be the usual for the US ai, because my soviet game had no d-day and allowed germany to rush my front, in 1944.
