the Jin Jung Sung essence was a HG find for me this year! the bottle comes with a ton of product, so it lasts forever, even with daily morning and night use. next I'll be trying the Omega Vegan Vita Serum which seems to have a more milky texture.

yes, yes, yes! both essence and the serum are great, nicely hydrating and nourishing. The serum has few oils in it, which gives your skin a glow, so depending on your skin type, might be more suited for night time. Regardless it is very enjoyable to use and the amount of product you get for the price... unbeatable!

I used to be Team Minimalist as in toners and essences aren't necessary (except for exfoliating toners) so I'm not using them. BUT, I started to feel like I needed some hydration after cleansing my face but before using a serum. So, now I (virtually) stand before you a huge fan of the Skin 1004 probio-cica toner! Also became a huge fan of Purito's AHA BHA refreshing solution. Planning to try the Skin 1004 hyalu-cica toner and Purito Oat-In Silky toner next.

I’ve been dying to try the jing jung sung essence since they removed the essential oils. Wish I bought it in my last yesstyle haul! I went with the I’m from rice toner instead.

I'm also very oily-skinned and I was also wondering why I didn't have that many new products I was excited about this year -- you're right, a lot of brands were really leaning into nourishing, moisturizing, milky, glass-skin products that are nice but not great for my skin type during the day.

I love the Jin Jung Sung Hybrid Face & Eye cream, full of good ingredients ( ceramides, centella Asiatica extract, peptides) actually I changed my expensive moisturizer for this and my skin is more hydrated !!!

As you are living in Europe please please give Rilastil a try! Their aqua intense face spray is my favorite discovery of the year. Also highly recommend the Eucerin hydra protect spf 50+ face sunscreen, I think it's their best one yet.

My favorite product is the Jin Jung Sung Essence Toner. I have oily skin, but it goes on and leaves my skin hydrated, silky, smooth, radiant, healthy, and my skin doesn’t look oily at all. I also have the Mixsoon Bean Essence. Loving that. I also have the Thayer’s Hydrating Milky Toner on order. I am planning on using it on my body before I use my oils or lotions. Depends on how I feel that day depends on it my body gets oil or lotion. Sometimes both. The last thing I have that you mentioned is the D’Alba First Spray Serum. That one I also spray on last… not first! 😂 I love it also. But I’m also that girl who puts a mist toner/hydrator in my purse so I can spray it anytime I need/want it. I also keep my sunscreen in my purse for any touch ups. 😂

I would and have tried but it gets really complicated, because people want certain textures, certain price points, they have specific skin types and concerns, idk what’s available in what countries or who can access what, idk budgets. You can try and please a majority of people but others will feel excluded and complain. It’s not an easy endeavor tbh

I cannot even imagine the implications when thinking of personal opinions for a lot of people while trying to remain open and inclusive. think I am going to use my best judgement based on the reviews/information you have given and personal preferences. Trying to get my family (parents and sibling) into it and I am feeling overwhelmed just at choosing things for them haha!

It’s a milky formula that’s a bit more rich than Laniege’s cream skin imo. It’s not matte (obviously) so idk what you necessarily mean in terms of ‘for oily skin’, but I like it. I just haven’t been using it long enough to have a solid opinion and therefore include it in this video

When I went to Korea, I had to be careful not to buy every skincare product in site. I was able to get the D'Alba First Spray Serum for 1+1 for cheaper than the websites (the simple joys ...LOL). Love it so much, and you are exactly right, it does feel Lux. Guess I'll have to give Thayers another look for their milk formulas. Cheers!!

Surprised to see the Jin Jung Sung on here! It's underrated and I was specifically looking for a thick essence. Unfortunately it's not hydrating enough for my very oily skin in winter climate and it pills when even on clean skin 😭 It feels like applying thick water on my skin. I need to apply a few layers to notice hydration, at which point it starts to pill. Glad you liked it tho ❤

Love how you summarized the trend for the year. And everyone has been loving the Thayer's! So surprised. I'll have to try it once I've worked through some of my skincare stash. Glad that the us drugstore market is starting to get on the hydrating toner train. It's not always easy to wait a month to get an order from asia

I am definitely not someone who loved the thayers.. It broke me out 😩 apparently I have an allergy to snow mushroom topically. Definitely patch test when you get it!

The thing that people don’t understand about La Mer, is that it is formulated. People don’t seem to understand why it’s so expensive but fermentation process takes 3 to 4 months and uses light and sound energy to enhance the activity of sea kelp, vitamins, minerals and other pure ingredients, creating a whole far greater than the sum of its parts. Which no other brand does. Would I buy it, yes if I was rich 😂

I purchased Jin Jung Sungs essence like you recommended and they immediately sold my phone number and I'm getting dozens of spam calls a day now 😡 I'm disabled and cannot afford to be at the whim of predatory companies like that. It's been a nightmare. If that wasn't bad enough, this product took over a month to get here and it's COMPLETE GARBAGE. My skin broke out in a horrible rash every time I tried to use it and I DON'T have sensitive skin. Worst purchase I've ever made in my life. How can you recommend this product to your subscribers?? DO NOT BUY THIS PEOPLE!!!
