The only top water lure I can get bites on is a Whopper popper. I cant get bites on frogs or walking baits. Does anyone have any tips?

Open ended question, lotta variables. Early morning or evening you should get bites. Fishing over structure or along weedlines with a walking bait . Frogs just take practice but same thing . Early or late and I do better close to shore or on the edges of the pads or weeds

The only thing I have notice is let it sit for a good 10 seconds sometimes just in case a fish is making its way over to the bait

@@suckit758 sometimes , but other times it’s better to get it moving as soon as it hits the water and they shoot over and crush it . Depends on the day ( and species of bass )
