FR anyone who has ran the 400 M or more in track can understand how tired you are after that, it isn’t just a sprint, if you ran it correctly you will have used all the energy possible in your body and will want to feel like collapsing at the finish line.
I mean yeah you feel like death but also the surge of adrenaline you get after winning a race over powers that. No reason to not do something after winning a race especially when it’s a WR. Source: ran track and XC in college and highschool for a total of eight years.

It’s going to be decades before anyone else comes close (unless she beats her own record). She is a once in two generation athlete. Criticizing her not celebrating is bewildering because she had to be in extreme pain. This isn’t a 100 yard sprint.. the 400 is pain.
Sydney said that she was in pain and 1) needed to recover and 2) wanted to take in the moment before she stood up and was pulled in a thousand directions. 10/10
I’ve had to do the 400m hurdles before and as soon as I crossed the finish line I just dropped all my body weight and layed there on the ground for like 20 minutes
nobody is saying her actions werent understandable, but she literally had no celebration, giving her the low rating. imo it was still a high rating since hes literally rating nothing

The girl sitting was taking in the moment , thats both a humble and surreal celebration to me. Shows shes not flashy but is passionate. She appreciates the sport and understands the extent to what she just did for the sport. 10/10 for me
