@@CowboyKentRollins great version of tres leches cake Mr. Kent! I would like to taste your version of ARRIERO . have You ever tasted it? it's kind of a stew Made with cubed pork beans pepper it's delicious and hearty cmon COWBOY KENT let's try it!!!
Praying!! God bless and thank you for the wonderful videos. I love tres leche cake! I been wanting to make one but also been trying to watch the sweets… but now I think the family needs a good dessert with dinner to bring summer weather in!!
It's rare that I watch on my PC (where I have access to a keyboard) as my hubby and I tend to watch your channel on our TV. So just a post to say we appreciate you and look forward to your videos. Keep on keeping on and thank you! God Bless!
Although I have no preference of white over brown eggs, I’ve noticed over the years that brown eggs break differently than white ones do & less egg shell fragments get into the bowl when brown eggs are used. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourselves.
I did something wrong. My cake barely rose and was too dense to accept much of the sauce. I didn’t forget the baking powder but it just didn’t work. My egg whites appeared watery in the bowl and got “bubbly” but never looked like they were starting to become thicker like yours. I will definitely try again but I hope I get better results. Can baking powder get too old? Were my eggs low quality?
Being totally blind, I can’t see how wonderful that cake may look, but your description is so good, I can almost smell it! Thank you for such a great recipe!
@@japethspeaketh7034 because I use an iPhone and the iPhone has voiceover built into it so the phone talks. I learned braille when I was three and I learned to type on a regular typewriter when I was seven, and typing on the phones keyboard just requires remembering where the keys would be if you could feel them. Of course you can’t feel them but you know where they are.
As a mexican, I really love this dude. My abuela passed a year ago because of covid. Watching him cook reminds me of how my grandma just lovedddd to cook. Keep up the amazing cooking, don't let anyone get you down Rollins!!
As a part filipino Dutchman I am glad you shared your experiences. Culinary traditions are beyond money in terms of value. I hope you learn some cooking from them!
You know Kent Rollins I had that cake before it was my first time trying it I didn’t make it but I had it because I was helping a party sing happy birthday. Because the family / mom spoke but the kids spoke English.
Again Kent never fails to inspire and entertain us. My question is how can you get it out of the cast iron or the cake dish easily without destroying the triangle shaped pieces?
I can't speak for cast iron, but with bundt or bread pans I always grease by hand with butter and have never once had any trouble getting the cake out. I never need the coat of flour they often recommend.
You mentioned "poke cake" which is wonderful, my mom made that tons of times when I was growing up. Watching you pour those 3 milks over this cake made me want to make a poke cake and then pour that GREAT whiskey cream sauce from your bread pudding recipe over it! Now that would make me give a little dance.
Kent, I can see right through the "mixer" schtick. You have loved that thing for a while now. Side note to anybody cringing at the dog licking kitchen things, I'm concerned about y'all's lack of confidence in washing your dishes.
kent be like Que Pasa Y'all after eating that cake, theres also one called Dulce De Leche , which is the condensed milk cooked inside the metal can while still sealed, make like a caramel colored sweet topping
Dont let the Duker...Sadie ...or the Beag see the video 📹 cuz they will gang up on the Major and toss him to the curb for getting to lick those bowls clean... 🐕🐕 🐕 Dog jealousy😬 is a real thing...believe you me it is.🤣🤣👍✌
So cool to see you on here! I live in Paris, TX & I have been going to Mangum, OK to visit my grandparents and family all my life. Southwest Oklahoma is such a beautiful part of the country. Thank God for the rain!
We always used King Arthur flour at the bakery my family used to run. Quality baking ingredients make the best tasting treats when it comes down to it.
I'm gonna try to pause the video here and there and attempt to cook along with kent today. This will be my first try. Yall pray for me 🤣🤣🤣. P.s. checking in from the Mississippi gulf coast. How bout yall?
Tres Leches is incredible and most restaurant and bakery cakes use too many processed ingredients. Home made is the only way to go unless you are desperate
Amazing job Kent! Retire chef 28 years and that's difficult not in cast iron. We love the channel and enjoy watching. Our channel is up and running and I'm sure we will be cooking over open fire soon. God Bless yawl. Mike
Wow Kent & Shannon, awesome looking cake. I think I’m going to try it for my birthday on 5-7. You’ll are a great team. See ya on the next one. Bless you both & the fur kids.
Kent … Great recipe; greater video; gained a pound and a half just WATCHING it. Favorite part of all was the Major … that is one dog that was in hog heaven!!! Me and mine wish you and yours all things great and good; take care, be safe and God bless!!! Chuck Knight from Buffalo, Texas. 👨🌾✝️🙏🐩
What would be grate. Is 10 other Traveling Cowboy cooks and Cowboys. Doing State And National Runs for Birthdays etc. Ranches across America. Elite Cowbor Cooks. Then the Kent Cowboy School International. Would be yet another reason for Cowboy Hire and Future success. All 7nder Your Brand.
Hello from Vancouver, BC, Canada! Been watching your channel since you only had about 200,000 or 300,000 subscribers. You deserve well over 100 million. I hope if I ever come down that way I get to meet you at some point!
Well you sly dog. You upgraded. Wow. That's Folgers in Your Cup That's always been my favorite Flour. What is your wagon rate. For brush and dove Hunt.
Not sure where the cake is originally from, I grew up in Bolivia South America and it was already very popular when I was a kid. I’ll make one this weekend, 5 de Mayo is too far 😅
Today is a mage I guess beag's taking a break and we can't find Duker because he's probably taking a break too. I really miss my dog but I know he is with Jesus and heaven. I only miss him at night I think it's because night time is when you have the most peace and quiet around you The world's allowed place and I often feel like it's hard to find the blessings of God. I'm always looking but I often feel like I'm in a war
