We were on the hunt for a tripod to help support our new edelkrone Slider. It was beginning to look like we were going to have to shell out another grand for a tripod that could support its weight... that is, until we found this!

Based off your video I purchased this tripod to shoot my rifle off of it. This thing is beefy as hell. It handles the 22lbs rifle with no problem at all. Thank you for your video. You saved me hundreds of dollars.

@Bear Klassen I went with the RT90C. Its definitely a contender with the big boys like RRS. I also bought the ER40C center column. I slapped a Hog Saddle on there and I was good to go!

@Bear Klassen Niiiiiiice setup! I use Cretac SBH-70D ball head with the Hog Saddle on the flat base mounting pan. On the 75mm bowl adapter I mounted an Arca rail adapter for my Area 419 rail. The bowl adapter is the most solid platform I use. But you are limited to range of motion. That's why I use the Hog Saddle for more extreme angles/positions.

Thank you, thank you 🙏 It's funny I saw that guy's review on Amazon and added the tripod to my cart, but thought to double check on RU-vid before final purchase. Yours was the first review I clicked on, and God thanks for saving me a $1000.

Thanks for finding and reviewing this! I have built a new camera rig which was quite expensive (Canon R5, DJI RS2, Atomos, Raven Eye, and a whole bunch of other goodies) and I am literally scared to death my tripod or ball head is going to fail! Totally going to hang on it. Hahaha

Hey, no problem! We're glad you enjoyed it! Nice setup you got! Yeah, we literally witnessed our whole setup tip and almost fall on our old tripod, caught it mid-air and were like.. yep we need a new solution ha. Hope you enjoy it.. with pull-ups and actually using it for stable footage, ha!

Going to order this tripod for my star-tracker (SkyGuider Pro). I also like that the mounting plate itself is fairly big. EDIT: I just got the tripod and it's even beefier than I thought! A tiny bit of an overkill for my current setup, but it will come in handy when I upgrade to a heavier payload.

@itai did you hang on to this tripod? I’m looking at the same one for a star tracker. Oddly, this has been the toughest piece of my AP setup to decide on. I thought the Dolica tripod would cut it and I could skip buying a tripod but didn’t work out.

I can attest to this 90C being very robust. I bought one about a year back to hold a 600mm lens and gimbal system but it's almost overkill even for that. the 90C is most definitely a series 5 level tripod if it were a Gitzo or RRS. My only gripe is the twist locks are made with what feels like cheaper plastic although it should still hold up for a long time (and for 300$ who can complain really?). Overall though the tolerances are very good on all of the parts and the leveling half ball/bowl adapter combo that comes with it is a nice touch. I liked the 90C enough that I just purchased the Innorel NT364C with 75mm half ball leveling base which I would compare to the series 3 tripods from Gitzo or RRS. I am very impressed with it, it has even better construction and components than the 90C and it's a nice middle ground of size and weight plus support. The twist locks are nicely rubberized just like the Gitzo twist locks and everything is very nicely made and the tripod itself is around 4.5lbs. It's also only cost 240$ with tax. I would definitely recommend innorel or the other brand these are sold under Artcise.

Hey there, got a few questions to you. I know the 90C from a friend of mine who also uses a gimbal+400/2.8 on the tripod. But I felt the same way as you did, that the 90C feels even a bit oversized to this combination. Therefore I am interested into the 80C, also to safe some bucks in comparison to its bigger version. But how would you say handles it (80C) your Pro Body+600 mm combination? Do you use a 600 prime or supertele? I could additionally safe a kilogram in weight, since I walk a lot in mountain areas with the equipment attached. Cheers and greetings from Germany!

@@baleka5826 I was going to get the 80C but there were two offerings one of which has a strange size half ball leveling bowl of 65mm and one with a 75mm bowl but to make it more confusing there is another version that has the 75mm bowl but also has thicker leg material for about 25$ more. So I decided to get the one that has the 8mm thick carbon fiber legs and the 75mm bowl/leveling base combo. I don’t shoot with the 600mm prime anymore but I’m currently using a nikkor 300mm f2.8 G VRII with 1.4x tele and that combo with lens and body/battery grip is over 10lbs and it’s fine with this tripod. The tripod is rated at 44lbs or something even higher than that so if I still had the 600mm lens I wouldn’t hesitate to use it with this tripod. The specific model I got is the BT364C Innorel and you want the thicker one which I am glad I got and the Amazon reviews also recommended getting the thicker carbon legs… I think it’s basically the more robust version of the 80c. I want to say that I clicked on the 80C page on Amazon but when I selected the thicker heavier duty model it redirected me to the BT364C part number.

Thank you very much for your superfast reply! You already fully convinced me to go for the 80C. Now I've done quite some research to find your 'BT364C' version, but this one seems not to be available anymore. Maybe due to some version updates. But according to the name, there is a NT364C, which is now the 90C. The 80C/NT364C meanwhile has the carry ability of 55 lbs. So I guess I can only order this one. Do you maybe have a link for me which you can send me to your Amazon page with the mentioned reviews? I would really appreciate it. My mail address is babbeldibu90[at] gmail[dot]com Wish you always good light. Cheers

@@baleka5826 I don't know man you just seem to get what you get with this company. When I ordered my 90C I ordered the Innorel but it arrived with the Artcise branding on it ... they are the same thing just two different marketing structures. So maybe mine is just the 80C with the thicker legs and the 75mm Bowl adapter what I got in the box was the other part number lol. I think they are the same thing and if you order the 80C it should be fine :)

Thanks man. You opened my eyes for this Innorel/Artcise complex. Never seen it like that. :D Now I ordered the 90C as well as you did having a first sturdy Option and maybe I will get another 80C for hiking proposes later on. Btw I found a model which is named Artcise as88C which is a hybrid between the 90 C an 80 C with 2,4 kg, 160 cm and 36 mm tubes. Costs were unfortunately the same on AliExpress, but that may be the most recent branding of your 'on-steroids-80C'. :) Cheers
