For those that are not big fans of raw onion, try a hit of onion powder instead. Accomplishes the same taste profile w out being overpowering. Agree that real butter is a must and it should definitely be on sourdough. My favorite sandwich!

Don't know if you'll ever read this but my wife has made me grill these up for the last 3 nights on my Weber. Apparently you figured out the way to my wife's heart. Oh YES!! I haven't had a tuna melt in ages. BUT, I will be making it now. I'm am so diggin your recipe. Looks so so TASTY and MOUTHWATERING!! Like you said, a little crunch from the celery and onions (I love onions on anything), the lemon brightens it up and Cheddar Cheese on sour dough bread, are a great combination of ingredients for the perfect Tuna Melt!! I like to grill the tuna mixture by itself for about 5 minutes. Then I remove from the grill, top with cheese and place on bread to finish the grilling. It gives the tuna a nice texture. A good dill pickle on the side doesn't hurt either
I made this last night and I have to tell you that it was fantastic! I used Texas toast and American cheese and dried parsley, as I didn't have fresh. Making it again for lunch! Thank you for the video and recipe! 😊💖🙏

I made this earlier and it was sooo good. It's not a sandwich we have in the UK so I'd never had one before but I didn't have celery and used garlic mayo and a touch of paprika, also blue cheese and cheddar...I put the butter in the griddle pan instead of on the back of the bread but it turned out amazing. Thank you for this recipe that I will be making from now on.

I just happened upon your channel and recipe. I was very happy to see your tuna mix was almost identical to mine. After years of experimenting I finally arrived upon similar ingredients to make the best tuna mix for my taste!! The only difference is that I add dill to the mix instead of garlic. 🐟🥪🏁

I agree!! I always put diced up dill pickles in my tuna!! I HATE celery in it and I can't stand it when restaurants put it in theirs!!! You can always add it, but u can't take it out! 😠

Eating non-processed, whole and natural foods is really the best way to eat for good health. 😉
A lot of fish, particularly tuna, contains some mercury. Your body does filter out mercury (very slowly), but it really shouldn't be a problem if you don't eat fish everyday.
first time actually watching a tuna melt being made. never tried it before but it's something I'd like to try at some point. I love tuna and cheese (especially melted cheese) so it's the perfect combination!

I've never had a tuna melt before but this recipe really makes me want one! I don't typically make my tuna this way, but this seems like a nice, fresh alternative that may just go better with cheese and heating. I'm salivating. Thank you!
This is my favorite of all time , I think you forgot the lettuce and jalapeño. I have it a Neptune’s net & a near sea food restaurant from where I live with some fries it’s to die for 🥵 so delicious. Thank you for sharing you made it so delicious 😋
