Because of this video I got myself a couple of those corduroy trousers, a pair of selvedge jeans and another pair of formal trousers. Couldn't be happier. Thanks
Thanks James. Good pick on the pieces, mate. I was thinking about to get the corduroy shirt as well. Also in the exact same colourway 😅 it is an awesome colour which is actually very rare, i think. But I will wait for the Uniqlo-U AW23 release first. I'm sure there will be some nice garments, too. Maybe even corduroy ones. We will see. Anyways, I'm pretty excited about, what they're going to drop this year. Could you please make an episode about the drop. Maybe even analysing it. Like, the best three pieces for men, and what to get from the women section. What do you think?
Great minds think alike!! It’s truly a lovely colour, I have nothing else like it. I will definitely do a video on the Uniqlo U collection man. I’ll keep an eye out in both men and women’s and get the best pieces to show off 👍
Darn! I really wanted those wide pleated corduroy pants so I went to the Uniqlo store. All they had was the normal fit. I came home to realize they only have the wide one in that color in EU. In the US only the women’s have wide corduroy but it’s wider than I would like. Had to just settle for the dark grey for the normal corduroy that I already have 2 pairs in other colors.
A lot of people have told me that the EU and US store vary lot, really frustrating! I wonder if they will eventually come to the US? I’ve heard the women’s ones are nice, have you tried sizing down to see if they’re any better fitting?
You and I are pretty much exactly the same build and I had seen these black selvedge jeans at my local UNIQLO all by their lonesome on the sale rack for $20 IN MY SIZE. Meant to be. They fit like they were tailored. Keep up the good work. Cheers from sunny and then hurricane and then sunny LA.
@@JamesLeung I have a pair from nudie jeans that I've been wearing off and on for a few years now and they're finally started to get a nice lived-in look. stick with them and give them time.
Thank you! Are you in the US by any chance? I’ve heard some of the links don’t work over there because the Uniqlo store is different in EU vs US. Super annoying!!
How are we the same height but are supposed to weigh differently and still be healthy(just ranting, don't mind me). My doctor tells me that for my height, I should weigh 170 to be healthy. Maybe he's lying to me about my height, but the reason I bring this up is because it always messes me up when choosing sizing. Body shape could also be a factor, but it doesn't make sense. Usually, models at around my height and weight go for size medium. But if I was to pick the same, it fits just right, almost too tight. Does anyone know why? I usually just go for large when choosing shirts and XL for sweatshirts and jackets.
I don’t pay much attention to body weight, the only reason I say it in videos is because people always ask. Your doctor might be talking about BMI which I think is rubbish. For me it’s more about finding pieces that fit your body type/shape. If you feel more better in the larger sizes then I would go for that, because if you wear something too tight you might feel uncomfortable which will show through to your outfit.
For what it's worth all professional weight lifters are definitionally Obese. If you're healthy and active don't mind your weight too much. Everyone carries their weight differently.
Just my two cents: the reason I follow is because I like your style. Sponsoring Uniqlo is cool but I'm also trying to avoid all this fast fashion trend. Would dig more trying to pick outfits one can also find in vintage shops.
