I'm an African, nationality tanzania and the last thing i expected to see is the use of kiswahili in their ost. i understand that to some their use of different language in OST is not new to genshin but to a pure african this is very shocking since very very very few game media much less "gachas" will include this language. props up to genshin. Genshin has finally listened to us and the community!! After years of farming artifacts to get a very bad artifacts, defense defense all the way, I'm super glad that we can finally customise the main and sub stats. This changes the whole game because whatever we main a character we can finally see our highest dmg record broken!! Natlan is coming and I'm so excited, its been a while since fontaine has released and we meet so many new characters and experiencing story quests. So many changes and everything, this makes genshin impact skyrocket!!

The swahili music was insane. I literally had chills listening to it. For me, the music was the highlight of the livestream. I speak swahili(Kenyan) and I was shocked when I heard the language I've spoken for years being used for a genshin orchestra. That was epic. Of course, there might have been a few issues with the words(grammatical) but still, that was amazing. It encompassed why I love music and why I started studying it in the first place. Incorporating African music into an orchestra is a dream for me, and I hope to achieve it.

Not gonna lie, the orchestral performance made me cry. Seeing all the different cultures performing was beautiful but also seeing two indigenous people performing just made me sob. I'm indigenous and seeing that alone just hurt and made me feel seen all at once because there is little to no representation of my people. Hoyo really outdid themselves on this one.

Free 5-star character selection, ability to create stats for relics, etc. I'm really surprised at what's happening, 5.0 is going far enough to call it a good update, especially since its special program is up to 2 hours long

I saw in your chat (also in bran's) wherein the "skipping to Natlan" function is criticized as stupid, but that only applies to those who want to follow the storyline. You all gotta remember that while story is one of Genshin's greatest trademarks, there are players who DO NOT play for the story. They want the primos for the characters they like regardless of lore. This is why you can choose to use this function or not. Everyone has their own way of playing. This is also for people who like to run multiple accounts wherein the main one is for enjoying the story, and the other is focused on the gacha aspect on simply building ALL characters for endgame. By letting players skip to Natlan, they can immediately reap the quest rewards there rather than go through the tedious order of the Archon Quests and risk missing out on some extra rewards. It is also a very good tactic to attract old players back to Genshin after getting burnout from Sumeru or Fontaine.

I get where Doro is coming from with the Quick start feature, but think of it like this, this gives players who are stuck on one archon quest but have already watched play throughs of the later quests the option to immediately jump into the new update without having to spend weeks or even months completing as an example Sumeru and Fontain. Take me as an example, I'm currently still stuck on the last part of the Inazuma Archon Quest because I'm a "new" player who doesn't have a lot of good characters, which means I'd have to finish the entirety of Sumeru and Fontains Archon quests to even be able to get to Natlan. I think it's a good feature at least for players who already know the story of the other nations.

the music never fails to amaze me and i just get chills all the time.

All of the QoL updates were hype. Loved hearing about those and how they're finally planning on being more generous with their players. Wish they had bothered to changed that fate point earlier to save me some pain.... but glad it's there 1000% So sincerely disappointed in them for the disclaimer they put in at the beginning about how this is a work of fiction not based on real people. Didn't expect anything less, but it still managed to piss me off more than I thought just to see it. And then nothing but disappointment when realizing the symphony creating the music for Natlan will be far more diverse than the game will ever be. I want to be more excited because there were so many good announcements in the stream and cool moments, but I'm just not able to be at the moment.
