That is one sexy looking bike. Sadly not even in my dreams would I be able to afford something like this. Thanks Kyle for your insights and satirical puns. Always make me laugh.
It is a very nice looking bike. I get so many compliments when I'm out riding this bike. Certainly a high price, but good value when you look at the competition. Thanks for watching! I'm glad you get a laugh!
I loved the few rides I got to do on this bike, i think personally I would swap a few parts to make it perfect. Longer dropper, probably carbon wheels to lighten it up a touch, air rear shock(i think that would fix some of the sluggish feeling climbing) and swap the brakes. Overall really solid bike, I might even buy it from you though i am undecided lol.
I've considered upgrading it to suit my little chicken legs, but I'm tired of spending money on bike stuff lol. You're my number one customer! You or Zach may end up falling in love with it creating a bidding war!
Love your videos. Was in Bentonville on Thursday and was fortunate to ride Slaughter Pen for a couple of hours. Keep doing what your doing and I’ll keep watching!
I went with the Rift Zone as I got my military discount and it was just over $1800. Wish I would’ve held off like a month because I could’ve gotten the XR for $400 more on clearance. Didn’t realize that the current model year went on clearance around October 😢
Dude sick video, my roommate had the Alpine Trail 7 and I brought it to AF and it was so much fun and it had bottom of the line components. I ended up blowing the rear shock lol the black coating came off the damper body. It was only a x fusion. You plan on doing more longer travel bikes? I would suggest the Revel Rail 27.5.
You could have mentioned that I really liked riding it too but I respect that you kept my name out of your mouth and didn’t try to ride my coattails but talking about me a lot….. it is a really sweet bike.
@@CobraKyle when I was riding it downhill I liked it a lot….. the climbs and pushing it uphill wasn’t much fun, but my terrible conditioning/shape isn’t the bike’s fault
Thank you for the video! I’m been thinking about getting this bike for my second bike. How do you feel about the size? I know the one you have is a large; how tall are you? And do you feel like its a good size for you?
In my footage when I first got the bike the seatpost was nearly slammed down. I have 106mm of post sticking out right now where I need it to pedal, so pretty confident a 200mm post would fit just fine.
I have the alpine trail 7 which is the one lower than this I agree so much with this review my bike downhill makes me feel like a pro but any up hill I jump straight off I'm going tubless tomorrow and upgrading tyres see if that helps if not I'm going e bike
haha yeah it's such an absurd development. The reason I love bikes is because they are simple. They keep coming up with these ideas to complicate the ride experience, and before we know it everything will be a $20,000 ebike with a throttle, abs, and similar features you can get on a motorcycle for half the price lol.
I hope the ABS will stick to rental bikes and such, just to protect inexperienced and casual riders from going over the bars. That's the only reasonable application.
Maybe if I win the lottery. Beautiful bike. Way more than I need. But if you want I'll send my address so you can ship it to me. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thanks Mike! Me and my friend were talking about a possible Angel Fire trip in September. I just accepted a new job, so will have to see how that pans out vacation wise.
