Buddy!!! mortals play 10 - 25 handicap……. You single digit or better represent the top 5% of players. Tour guys are the the top 5% of you 5%. Love the humble approach but you are playing a level of golf that many of us aspire on a weekly basis to achieve and fall short. If your in single digits your a all out stud and good on you. The rest of us mortals are practicing and aspiring for that one round. Keep on playing thru my friend!!

@@LetsPlayThru there are so many options out there all claiming to be the best?, I don't want game forgiving irons I want game improving irons, my games improving at a good rate with a set of Burner 2s which are around 11 years old. I'm leaning towards the p790s but clubs like those takomo and by the way your review on these was by far the best throw a spanner in the works due to the comments being said. With that in mind at a price which is less than half of the p790s is it wort taking the punt? as you can't test the takomo is a concern funny enough another club which as caused a bit os a stir and there are a few good reviews out there are the new Ram fx77s which retail at £299 anyway buddy enjoy your trip enjoy your golf and keep them videos coming may the sun shine on you always when playing

Hey Don, curious after a season what was the wear like? Are they wearing well? Highly considering a set this spring.

You’re right. It’s the distance factor that holds me back from hitting blades or player’s cavity backs. If I was a longer hitter I’d def go back to my Mizuno blades.

Hi Gabe I agree, your game is good enough to move from the Game improvement clubs. Try out the PXG 0211 ST blades I’m gaming these and I’m at 9.2 index HC. Very forgiving for a blade and workable.

Didn't seem to be an issue to me. I'm used to forge clubs getting all nicked up anyhow, but I don't think these would be overly fragile. They do have more of a satin finish on the face. But that's just aesthetic from what I can tell.

They just may stay there too :)

I love them. I think they're right up there with all the clubs you mentioned. And the price??? Almost makes it a no brainer for me. Hey, tell you what, come out to October 1st event and I'll have them there for you to test.

101ts are almost as forgiving as 101s

Tough to say without knowing your game / swing / etc. If you can, I'd recommend going out to a store and trying as many as you can. Then you can start to narrow down what you like and dislike.

Yeah that’s the tough thing about DTC. Some allow you to buy a single club and that’s probably wise. If not, make sure they have a good return policy :)

Yes and I was able to find .370 ferules for the custom set I built, not too much of an issue really. What shafts did you use?
