What do you think of the IWC Ingenieur? Do you prefer the now pre-owned IW3227, IW3228 generation? Or do you prefer the latest 2023 IWC Ingenieur? Or is there another Ingenieur that you like even more? Let me know what you think in the comments section!
Thank you so much 😀 thanks for watching and commenting - and if you know anyone that might enjoy my videos then please do share them, thats what helps the channel grow the most 🙏🏼
Yeah, I’d still like to get one in hand just to see if there’s something I’m missing that can explain the high price, but till then lucky for us IWC spent most of the 2000s and late 90s insanely over engineering their watches so there’s plenty of good value alternatives from IWC :)
There's a great IWC Aquatimer 2000M in titanium that i reviewed a few months ago, here's the link if you haven't seen it already ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vr4M9H0amK8.html - and couldn't agree more, pre-owned values for those are insane especially considering how over engineered they were....2000M of water resistance in the 90s 🫢
3227-01 owner here. I agree, you can really feel the quality when you hold / wear that generation of Ingenieur. The thickness doesn’t bother me as an enthusiast (the watch wears comfortably), but it’s probably a less good for somebody that just wants a 1 watch collection.
Always appreciate it when my reviews get the validation from someone that owns/has owned the watch 🙏🏼 it really is a great piece and IMO a lot of IWCs from that era are really under appreciated. Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts of the new Ingenieur they released last year?
