Remember that you can read all of our RTX 4070 based content on our website too! 👉 geekawhat.com/?s=rtx+4070 We've been working super hard to deliver as many reviews, buyers guides and GPU comparisons as possible, so please go and give them a read as I think they're a great resource for anyone interested in the 4070 (...or any PC hardware, for that matter!) 😄
I might take this and swap the 4070 with 6950xt, its roughly the same price(5-10% more) but has better performance(except ray tracing), and has 16gb vram. Considering 8gb is already obsolete, and 12gb is on its way there (for high res high fps 1440p gaming), the 6950xt is much more future proof and will probably last you a couple years longer
8gb is not obsolete for high fps games, it is still planty enoigh for lower texture settings....but if you need the eye candy than yes :) I regret a tiny little bit for getting a 3080 second hand half a year ago and not waiting more for a rx 6800 that is slightly more expensive but from a retailer with waranty... Good luck with the 6950xt
@@Alexandru1996_ i did say "for high res high fps gaming", and imo if you're buying a $600(+tax) card you better be able to get good fps on high settings for the foreseeable future
@@mohanpreetsingh716 i agree. Well, it seems that in the last of us the optimisation was not the best. It might be a reason for the taugh time for the 3070 for exemple. It seems that now it works somewhat better.
@@Thehughesgaming If you want a decent/good experience you should aim for your average fps to be 60+, but if you want the best fluidity and immersion I personally find around 90-100fps great, after that I'm hardly able to tell the difference. So ideally I like to have my 1% low fps to be around 70-90 and my avg fps to be around 90-110 for the best experience, but depending on budget I can turn down those numbers by 10-20 fps and not notice a major difference
Question for everyone about the 4070... So I was looking at purchasing the 4070 because it was significantly cheaper than the 4070 Ti for my Adobe/gaming PC build. I'm pairing the GPU with the 13600k. Should I still buy the 4070? or should I go for another card? I'd like to stay with Nvidia because it functions better with Adobe products from my research? Should i just buy the 3070 LHR? its about ~$50 cheaper than the 4070 but three years old?
I have lots of doubts about building my new PC in April 2023. I have a plan to do gaming and streaming on a single PC with concern for budget; which CPU and GPU would you recommend for my build? In my mind, I have rtx 3070 and i5 13600k, b760 mobo, 32gb 3600mhz, 750w psu and liquid cooler, should I go with this one or different one. Please suggest a build at, under, or at the same price point.
it's already good, maybe u can considering rtx 4070 ti. for streaming it has AV1 encode/decode which can improve your streaming quality. if u have a tight budget u can pick rtx 4070
I am currently building a setup with 7600 and a 4070ti. I think they work decently well with eachother on 1440p, planning to switch my cpu for a 7800x3d in the future tho.
The 5700x will do fine with the 4070, it’ll only bottleneck starting with the 4080. I’ll buy a 5700x as well, but pairing it with a 6800 XT instead because it’s practically the same level as a 3080 and the 4070, and a used one costs a third of what it’ll normally cost new with better future proofing thanks to the 16gb VRAM.
I don't know if anyone caught it or mentioned it, but for the US prices, you have duplicate entries/URLs for the CPU cooler and Motherboard. Request you fix it. Thanks.
I have Ryzen 7 7700X, RTX 4070, 32GB DRR 5 at 5600 Mhz and honestly feels like I have overspent money for no visible gain of anything. So listen to the guy, more budgeted machine will do you good!
Is rtx 4070 worth to buy?, like in my case i never had experience on gtx,rtx20-30 series. And on my country both of it is almost similar price, 960$ for 4070 ti and 880$ for 4070
Well you can play at ultra 60+ un most AAA games on 1440, 4k its no thar great you get 40fps on cyberpunk and rdr2, if you want to play ultra 1440 and 1080p get it, or save forca year and get the 4080 for the 4k. Plus get this cpu ryzen 7 8700x3d
the performance for a 4070 are disappointing, i can't immagine how bad the 4060/4050 will be if the 4070 can barely fight a 3080. The warzone 2 1440p 100 fps average with dlss on was sad ngl
guys, please dont buy the 4070... we are already at a point where we made clear to nvidia that 12 gb should be minimum and that the pricing all in all is pretty bad. can we maybe stick to our resolutions and stop buying cards for a while? or else this whole "movement" and momentum we as consumers got right now will fade away. and keep in mind: in the video he is using dlss, so the raw power of the 4070 is not as impressive to be honest. i mean 1440p 100 fps in warzone? seems more like a 1080p card. plus dlss and all these other things increase input delay. for racing games frames and input are very important
Someone has been paid off by greeedvidia calling this trash card, a good "value product". When it barely matches the cost per frame of AMD. Not to mention if you are paying anything above 500 and you get less than 16gb or vram you are getting ripped off. See how awfully the 3070 series aged with the shameful 8gb of vram.
@@mido_corfish7303 4070 is a 4060 Xx60 class card are usually last gen xx80 class performance 4070 is slightly slower than a 3080 So its a 4060 in disguise 4060(4070 ) for 600$ Which shpuld have been priced 300-350$ tops No Wonder no one wants it.
@@NeVErseeNMeLikEDis exactly, no one is gonna buy this card so it will get cheaper no doubt, if demand is low enough the price can get to maybe 450 idk
Bro are you being serious... you stats are misleading. Rtx 4070 is not beating 3080 or 3090 in anyways. I got both and tried everything. Stop misleading please.
