The Best PSVR2 Games For PlayStation VR2! PSVR2 New Top 20 For 2024 

Thank you for giving Horizon some love. It’s crazy how underrated it is. I had my knees and arms shaking while climbing - one of the most immersive VR games I’ve ever played. Those archery and obstacle course challenges were awesome

Recently just bought a Quest 3 and I cannot stress how happy I am. It really is epic having a PSVR2 and a Quest 3. They are both great headsets with their own strengths and variety. Despite what the mainstream might tell you I really think VR is in a good space at the moment.

I just played Walkabout Minigolf and it's my current favorite VR game. I guess you really have to love Minigolf. But it's so good.

Would have to add Moss Books 1&2, Hellsweeper VR, Walkabout Minigolf, Galaxy Kart, Beat Sabar, Ultrawings, FNAF 1&2, Switchback VR, Genotype, Ancient Dungeons, Puzzling Places, Vertigo 2, Ovrdark, Propergation Paradise Hotel, Pistol Whip, Stilt, Very Bad Dreams, and Ghost Signal. Just a question of where to fit them in. Did I mention Red Matter1.

Great video! Hoping this generates more interest in PSV2 for those who aren't familiar with it's library. Here's some I put on my top 20 that aren't here but I'm guessing that's because you've already played them a ton on other platforms and the PSVR2 versions aren't as big of an improvement as say, NMS or S&S. - Walkabout Mini-golf - Synth Riders - Beat Saber - Pistol Whip - Ancient Dungeon - Vertigo 2 - Propagation: Paradise Hotel - Puzzling Places

Madison VR is the first horror game I can’t continue at the moment because I’m too scared. RE 4 and Village are my favourite Psvr2 games. Can’t wait to replay them.

Village and RE4 look and play amazing in VR. Gran Turismo is great, but not for everyone. My sister tried it and nearly threw up after doing just 1 lap, lol

Thanks for this overview! I agree with your choices. It is hard to judge some title's in comparison to others because some are unique and good in their own way. But i do agree with your top 3 fully! Also I have some games to pick-up, like Madison and 7th Quest. But in the summer i don't have a lot of time for gaming, so will wait until after summer. And then I will wait for some discounts.

I am an original vr gamer, from virtual boy, OG pre ordered htc vive, psvr, to psvr2 and vive xr elite pcvr. Sony need to open this incredible headset to pc...right effing now. Its better than quest in quality, its a gaming focused headset, its a brilliant piece of kit that even has oled screens that even the 1k plus priced headsets do not have. I am not biased only vr biased. I don't care for brand loyalty, im 51 years old, that crap does not work with me. If psvr2 was open to pc, it would open up a world of options and games. Even now i have the option to purchase pcvr games, and will always purchase on psvr2 becuase the experiance is more immersive with the haptics, headset rumble, and eye tracking. Take nms (i have a 4090 pc). Nms VR graphics are far more advanced on pc. Better res, longer draw distance, more physics etc. However on psvr2, its far more immersive. The haptics, the subtle rumble, the eye tracking, are way more immersive. Since launch, i have 85 pcvr games from 2016/17 all the way to today. On psvr2 i have over 100 already. I had the choice to purchase on either platform, but psvr2 wins unless completely graphically heavy such as half life alyx. We always said that game mechanics win, over graphics. This new era of VR needs to change this law. In VR immersion wins over everything.

Good video, but I think this needs to be a top 30 or top 40, there are so many great games that shouldn't be missed...Res Evil Village, Hellsweeper, Galaxy Kart, Pistol Whip, Moss, Genotype, Ancient Dungeons, Vertigo 2, 7th Guest, Light Brigade, Switchback, and a bunch of horror (which I don't play)

Nice, I own 15 of these, and 100% 11 of those so doing alright. I'll add Switchback, Propagation Paradise Hotel, Moss 1/2, Walkabout Mini Golf as great PSVR2 titles. From the list I'd love to get to Madison, Cyube & Arizona 2.

I'm not sure what I would have removed, but Propagation Paradise Hotel, Ghost Signal and Switchback are up there for me

I was very disappointed that there was no possibility of using the VR2 in Moto GP 2024. It would be surprising to make turns using this mechanism.

Personally would switch RE8 and RE4. RE8 feels like a game designed from the ground up for VR with nice little touches all over the place. RE4 feels like VR was more of an afterthought with its forced button prompts and frequent switches to 3rd person

I wanted to know if you had also noticed that blue/purple spot in the headset, it almost looks like a glare. It was quite obvious while playing re8. I dont know if its a defect on my headset or if its a flaw with all units.

Has to be RE4 and GT7 at the top but the overall quality of PSVR2 games is really impressive and the amount of great games that have to miss out these lists is a testament to that.

I love both but I think I prefer Res 8 over 4 in VR. While the action is arguably better in 4 , the set pieces and cutscenes are much better in 8.

i have to say: I am missing Song in the Smoke in this top list. Not just because it was an awesome HQ-Port, it also is a very unique genre on PSVR2. Only comparaböe contender is Green Hell, or is it?

I'm playing The 7th Guest at the moment on PCVR and for a new game, interacting with some objects isn't great. Like for draws and handles and some small puzzle pieces that are close to one another. Feels a little dated. Curious if the PSVR2 version is similar

Spot on list, Totally agree with all of it. Although bit surprised Moss 1&2 are not on there, best versions are on PSVR2. Such a shame all the bad press for PSVR2 has given the headset such a bad name, and I think is effecting future game development. I see VR like this, 2017 PCVR was amazing with games like Lone echo making it a totally immersive experience. But expensive and not available to the masses. Then comes quest, now VR is available to the masses but at the cost of graphics an immersion reducing games to a casual experience. So I was exited when PSVR2 was announced. Bringing PCVR like performance & immersion to the masses. Over 60 million PS5's out there. I got it, played GT7 and was amazed. (I own Quest3 as well and mainly use it for PCVR). So I was quite surprised it didn't take off massively. Everyone seems obsessed by pancake lenses of Quest 3, but it just doesn't have the GPU power. I would rather have fresnel with the higher graphical quality, deep blacks and vibrant colours than super sharp job simulator style graphics. For me it's like comparing console gaming to mobile phone gaming. Also the massively subsidised headsets from meta have de valued the VR industry and eliminated all competition. I do think the Quest is an amazing bit of tech and some games really work on it well, but I think its important to see the effect it has had on the VR industry, an how it would be without it. It would have been interesting if Quest never existed, no subsidised headsets and we went from PCVR to PSVR2 and seeing public opinion then.

Tried a few PC VR headsets. Couldnt stand the graphics fidelity. PSVR 2 seems to be the best one around..(i havent experimented those that cost a kidney..but for £430...those costing twice as much arent as good)

Some original titles, most are old ports that anyone supporting VR has already purchased on other platforms. Im not impressed w Sonys efforts. The PC adapter will help.

I have a PSVR2 and Quest 3 I find myself using the quest three more due to the lack of games. Also the quest three might not have as great as graphics for resident evil four but I feel like there’s more of an immersive experience Even when it comes to the typewriter saves
