This is my go to wam-up run at Trestle Bike Park in Winter Park Colorado.
A good warm up run is critical to the bike park experience. It should get the juices flowing for the rest of the day but not put you at risk of breaking yourself before you've even gotten started.

I used to go to Trestle once a week when I lived in Wyoming. Miss it so much! Search and seizure, boulevard, and rainmaker are such fun trails!!

I had a really bad crash there. I broke my nose, had a black bruise from my knee to armpit. I broke my frame in 3 places. I still want to go back there, though. I've been there 3 times. I grew up in Durango, so I try to stop there on the way back from visiting friends.

Still remember my first big mountain descent in Montana. “After all this climbing it’s gonna feel so good to just kick back and let gravity take over for this long, relaxing, downhill voyage to the base of the mountain”. 5 minutes later my hands, forearms and calves are seizing up and on fire 😅 How much mileage was that? That place must be huge. You taking the family to La Casa Bonita?

I know. Downhill is very physical especially when they are long. I think that run must have been about 4 miles but I’m just guessing. Isn’t La Casa Bonita in South Park not Winter Park? 🤷‍♂️

@@KrisYahner In the show yeah but in Denver apparently which seems pretty close. 4 miles of DH sounds pretty sweet.
