Kingfisher masonry paint is brill. Used it for years and it’s very long lasting and only half the price of Emperor paint. It’s also water based so brushes etc are easily cleaned after use. Can’t recommend it enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
all well and good mike its getting people to pay for it 9/10 of my exterior jobs are done in retail masonry cause thats all most people will pay for and also when your always pricing against cowboys
@jackwardley3626 otherwise, you end up having to compete on price to win work. If you say something like, "we can use retail paint, it'll cost you x amount, but the polymer binder isn't very good, the colour will start to fade after a year, and it isn't very resistant to mould growth. So if you go for that option, you'll need to repaint after a year or two. Or you can use Emperor, it's hydrophobic, will help keep your house warm, won't trap moisture in the substrate, and is likely to last 25 years, which would you like us to price for?" It's quite an easy sell, and you wean out those who are looking for a cheap job.
