@@Volvoamazon62 In that case why not just jump into the ocean and actually swim in the real thing if the only time you can fill it is when you're in calm, pristine, tranquil waters?
@@rageme1987yea it's "money wasting" like that that gave us technologies like phone cameras, cordless vacuums, shock absorbers, weather resistant airplanes, etc. Just admit that this Yatch has a cool feature. And the engineers did a great job doing it. Maybe u wouldn't buy something like that but that doesn't mean someone wouldn't.
Meanwhile you go to the back of the lady fleur and there's a large custom tender boat on deck which lowers into the water via this mechanism very quickly for launching and recovery. The pool is a bonus. You may shut up now. mr. Your boat doesn't have a large custom tender on deck. 😁
@@ItachiUchiha-lr3yr I don't always swim in a tiny pool on a yacht even tho the water is 5 feet away; but when I do, I like to use the most disgusting water possible. Stay rich my friends
@@JohnProd24 theyre not supposed to at Port, but every boat crew has their way of doing things. I can tell you that almost no one wants thousands of gallons of sewage being trapped in their boat...
Thats exactly what i was thinking. Its seems kind of dumb that you have the entire ocean to swim in and your going to swim in dock water on the back of your boat
all fun and games until the hydraulic cylinder will get stuck. they are being exposed directly to salty sea waters, they can be high grade, but over time they will start to oxidize, that replacement i can imagine will be hella expensive.
@@GODSWORD11what do you mean false? Clearly youve never been a fucking dock. That water is absolutely disgusting. And 100% a few people are constantly dumping their raw sewage into the water.
The engineer who designed that just wanted to make sure he had perfect job security. Now when those break every year they are the only ones who can repair them.
I was stationed on submarines in the Navy. As a mechanic and quality assurance inspector, this video made me want to kick the person who designed this crap
As a former employee of a city, that cleaned the docking area I would advise against this. You risk the chance of filling your pool with condoms, needles, beer bottles and cans, and various drug paraphernalia.
Because someone with this boat is going to *genuinely* care about the repair expenses? This feature will probably only be used three to four times a year.
@@kateargent5750Take note. This is just a demonstration! They get the water in open sea not in the dock and you shouldn't complain about ocean water right? Did you swim in clean beach? I don't think so.
I can only imagine how expensive that feature is, and it may even compromise the ship's seaworthiness. You could probably achieve much the same result for a lot cheaper with a pump and a hose.
I saw a review of that yacht, when the back part lowers a small boat comes in and it lift it,that why the part that lowers have the shape of a boat in the front.of course if you carry the small boat you cant use the pool :)
@@KanjiEngKorean that's great. I'm truly happy for you! It's just unfortunate that all that wealth couldn't buy you some proper grammar and sentence structure 😂🙏 praying for you.
@@6Sparx9 the point of it is to be a power lift for your custom made matching tender boat that comes with your luxury yacht the Lady Fleur, which you can lower down into the water and recover very quickly without a boat lift / crane used to get the tender boat on and off deck like many other luxury yachts. Pretty insane there's videos of it launching and recovering that tender boat and it's a sweet setup for your luxury yacht. This is much more elegant, less trouble and quicker. When it's down you simply have a berth you launch from and can pull your tender boat right back into and just lift it up out of the water again. The pool with its own trick floor that can be raised up flush for a level deck or lowered to any depth you wish is just a luxury novelty bonus. 🙂

Especially when you got THE WHOLE OCEAN AROUND YOU that you would swim in anyways. I swear to god these complaints make no sense, this was a demonstration in a harbor so it can be filmed. If they actually did carry enough water to exchange the pool water over and over you’d be over here saying what a dumbass thing and massive waste of money it is considering you’re surrounded by water.
@@edobwoy I lived near the ocean all my life. I have friends that own yachts with special coatings. Trust me, the ocean and the sun will destroy anything coating or material in a very Short time.
yeah bu you can also see other uses for that system strange but... i could see it used in things like RIB recovery... dropping the bay, the rib driving up that and... staying in the pool as its lifted up to deck level. Making that a wet well.
@@jakemccoy i wouldn't say that. the vehicles i'm talking about are not full sized cars... they are small 1 and 2 person vehicle, already rigged, or able to be rigged to be lifted by crane their masses between 275 lbs and 3000 lbs. in the same weight as the life rafts already on the deck... so there's no change... you'd still need the crane and to keep it maintained for the boats... if you did that or not.
@@jenniferstewarts4851 If this contraption fails while you are out at sea that is a huge freaking hassle to deal with. That is basically the end of the trip. Also, the boat is likely designed to be non-movable when the deck is down.
To drain the pool you hit a button and the entire boat levitates 10m above the water, then the entire boat spins upside down using internal combustion rockets. Thankfully the drain feature only costs 1.3 million each time you do it, so it’s priced for middle class families to enjoy.
it's just novelty and to say "look how much money I can spend!". a pool that size is just plain useless besides sitting on a floaty. a jacuzzi would make a lot more sense..

It's still dumb if that's what it's for. Then what do you do with the jetski afterwards just let it slosh side to side hitting the edges. People have to much money for stupid things. Help out the world instead.
At least you have some God damn brains, and you're not retatted, like most people here that was purpose built, and it's for a rigid inflatable boat. The pool is there because when you're a rich af you get to say yeah, put a pool there and put a pool there. But everyone thinking they're so smart while they not just install a discrete pump. It's because you can't dock. A rigid inflatable boat that with a pump and you know what gave it away to me?The shape is the shape of a goddamn boat. And there's a lot of dumb people out there, but no one would design a system like that just to fill a swimming pool, a small swimming pool.

That filtration system for that pool must be one of exceptional ability to clean that harbor water to exceptional values to swim in. It better be before allowing kids no less adults in it.
instead of lowering the huge compartment, maybe a powerful pump could be way more effective, and you could filter the water and also boats’ structural integrity not compromised
@@sleasy01as an engineer, i can confidently say that whichever one of us designed this charged extra Customer is always right if their purse is big enough
Imagine having a luxury super yacht and on the deck you have a large matching custom tender boat that comes with it. And with the push of a button the deck lowers into the water forming an enclosed berth to launch and recover your tender boat from. Now imagine that power-deck also has its own custom trick pool built into it that can be raised up flush with the deck or lower to whatever depth you want your pool to be today. Then you have the Lady Fleur, that's how that works.👍
This needs upvoting. On transits the tender is on deck and the pool is out of use, then when you get into port you can dump the tender which frees up a load of space on deck. Normally that’d be just empty space but here they’ve made the most of it by adding a pool.
This is what you do when you have more in your pocket than between your ears. Why does it seem the richer you are the less imagination you get #huglife ❤
Why when someone is doin real good financially somebody always starts talking about a hungry person that ain't ate like it ain't they fault they ain't eat somethin
Exactly. It's for a tender. The name is on the boat people could just search it and the first result shows photos of it carrying a roughly 20' boat in there.
This serves 2 functions. You can load a jetski or dinghy there, and when unloaded instead of being just empty deck space it can be used as a pool. Actually pretty cool
What if... you take a bath in the sea like a normal human being? Or at least use a pump with filters to fill the pool, why do you have to waste so much money on this?
Google the boat, there’s a tender that fits perfectly in the gap. The whirlpool is on the upper deck. The “pool” is just a way to launch and dock the tender.
That's way more plausible than to do a huge moving platform to just skip one or two high volume pumps, preferably with filters. Cranes or such would be unsightly and bit of an hassle, this way you and your quests can just step onboard, not dangle through the swimming platform and then have this ordeal of lifting the tender onboard. Overkill, but not a dumb one.
Life can be crazy sometimes and you never know what it’ll throw at you or where you might end up. However, I know for sure that I’ll never have to worry about filling up the pool with water on my yacht.
