When then husbands a let down... you have RU-vid!!! dont know why I didn't come on here 2 years ago when I started to ask him to fix the damn door!!! thanks for this tutorial !!
Thank you so much for this tip I always knew the handles which was fitted was never done right looks like I know what I’m doing this weekend after golf 😁👊🏾👍🏾
This worked brilliantly mate - thanks. I was going to superglue or woodfill the old smaller screws in place (as they kept coming Loose so the handle fell off) but these M3 screws are great 👍
I very much enjoyed this video and I'm now feeling more confident that I understand how to resolve the problem. Thank you very much & Happy New Year 🙋♀️☯️
There's usually a block of chipboard at one side of the door to mount the lock, it looks like the door was fitted the wrong way around and the lock block is probably on the hinge side, ive seen this issue before and it usually means the handle screws pull out since the door skin is not strong enough to support the force of a handle. That being said, this is a good solution for a bad situation and saves replacing the door or patching holes and repainting to cover the damage.
Brilliant video. Unfortunately I can’t fit those screws with sleeves in my door as the holes are at the level of the lock. Something that you could suggest?
obejrzalem kilka twoich video, masz skilla, szczegolnie podoba mi sie praca dlutem a jesli robisz to zawodowo to prosze daj znac gdzie mieszkasz ,chetnie skorzystam z twoich uslug, ja jestem z SG9, pozdrawiam !
Looks like the door was fitted the wrong way round. Flush ply doors have a "lock block" on one side of the door to allow for fixing of handles and such. Good workaround with the screws though!
